In BioShock Infinite, your mission is to rescue Elizabeth, a young woman imprisoned by the enigmatic and terrifying Songbird, who has incredible powers that enable her to create tears into other worlds. In opening these tears, Elizabeth can summon certain objects into being, creating a variety of gameplay possibilities. In the new trailer, featuring fresh insight from Creative Director Ken Levine, we get to see Elizabeth creating some of these tears, as seen in the E3 2011 demo.
