Bejeweled 3 Heading to the PlayStation Network in Q4 2011

PopCap has announced that it's set to simultaneously release its much-loved match-three puzzle threequel, Bejeweled 3 across multiple home consoles including PlayStation 3 in Q4 2011, meaning that you'll have something to satisfy your puzzling needs in time for the holiday season.

“Critics agree that Bejeweled 3 raised the standard for match-3 games to new heights,” said Ed Allard, studio head at PopCap Games. “This holiday, we're bringing that experience to PlayStation 3, PSN, Xbox 360, Xbox LIVE, and Nintendo DS gamers with adaptations that look great and play even better on each platform."

More than half a billion people worldwide have played a Bejeweled game, and PopCap is hoping to ensnare yet more players in its bright, glistening, jewel encrusted puzzling talons when it releases at the end of the year on the PlayStation Store with twice as many game modes as Bejeweled 2, eight mini-games and completely revised sound and graphics. 	Bejeweled 2 was definitly fun to play on PS3 .. and i enjoy endless mode .. i hope they keep that mode. took me less then 24 hours too 100% it too :D

	Awesome, I enjoyed Bewjeweled 3 on the PC alot. I hope it will come with Trophy support.

	@5 Endless mode has been renamed Zen Mode in Bejeweled 3. its still pretty cool. Wonder what the trophies will be like? earning some of the in-game badges proves quite tedious on PC.

	I think these games are more suited to smartphones so you can have a quick blast at them while on the train or the bog (I think I prefer the latter of those two options). But it's good to see them releasing on a range of platforms. Means they can get more money to develop further titles :)
