No way,,, Dragon Age 2 was a short, mismatched story, that really left to many gaps in itself. such as the Wardens in the last chapter,,,what was more important than saving a burning village ?, Flemmeth what the hell was her part in the wholestory. and in the end , your chartacter disapears like the warden in Origins,,,, come on,,,,,THINK EA ,,,THINK bioware. complete the whole story or dont do 1 at all, geese.

@6: I found the story to be patched together, but in a good way. Instead of the game having the usual find-out-who-the-boss-is-and-go-on-epik-world-saving-quest-with-clear-goals-in-mind story, it went on a slightly more realistic route--having the hero just try to survive and get ahead in the world, and having that lead him/her into the various fights. It sweeps the main character up in its events instead of having the main character heroically set out to do some heroic deeds. I found the change refreshing. In other words: the story was set up by the side quests, and when everything in the game is played as its meant to be, the entire narrative weaves into a damned fine story told in a slightly unconventional way. |

By listening to the fan base they're not going to have repetitive ass maps this time around? How lazy can you be? What a huge disappointment to all the true fans out there.

I've enjoyed DA2 and completed it many times and the only problem I have is the gaps between the acts as they break up the story. I knew they were going to focus on the main events as they said that early on but I wasn't expecting them to skip so much I mean they promised a 10 year long story and skipped like 7 years of it. Which is why I think the DLC should be the missing years between the main acts and should fit seamlessly into the story. They could be called "The untold chapters" or something.

i have played origins and i absolutely loved it, haven't played DA2 yet, but i did read the novels and david gaider really put some nice stories together there. i think DA2 is a bit TOO much in the sense of time (like 10-year time span) to make everything crystal clear to the players who are not familiar with the dragon age universe.
