So, are we gonna see the next CoD banned in the UK/US because of the war on terror? Are we gonna see Battlefield delayed for that matter too? People need to get it over it.....Yeah, it was a tragedy, noones gonna turn round and say otherwise, but theres no need to ban anything. Its already made it ways into comedians routines and people are laughing about it.....Hypocrisy at its finest. |

| @2 It wasn't banned, they just chose not to release it because it would be incredibly insensitive for them to do so. Comedians who make jokes about the tsunami shouldn't be allowed to perform either, it's simply disgusting to make jokes about such a horrific natural disaster. |

| My point stands....On that logic, I await CoD and Battlefield to be cancelled in the UK, as a protest against the war on terror.... |

@3, I have to agree with @2. I mean this is a work of fiction, that was in development prior to the events. And while there may be some resemblance between them no one will be forced to buy the game. The only thing banning it does is keep it away from those who actually want it. As for banning comedians, comedy should not be censored...ever. Once you start limiting what people can and can't say it ruins everything. No one is asking you to see these peoples shows, no one is asking you to agree with what they are saying. If you don't like it, don't ruin it for those that do. It's not up to you to say what is permitted and what is not, because once you do, when will it stop. Any little thing that offends will be pulled, and some people enjoy. |

| @3 i agree with u if such a disaster was ever to happen in the UK or whatever region that people who are insensitive and make jokes like #1 how would they feel if a game was to include something of a similar nature. Yes i understand that these games are fictional and are not based on any true events that happen, but some people are sensitive and would find these games emotional, perhaps yes the game should be put off for release than cancelled and the nature of the game displayed and it will be up to the purchaser if they want to buy the game or not but developers have to think of their reputation also. Like all games that are released there is always going to be someone who has a problem with the content or the nature of the story, i.e. MW2 and now MW3 there is issues over the storyline and decisions have to be made by the developers. |

They should cancel all of the WW2 games because of lives lost in WW2. They should cancel Medal of Honor and all shooters relating to modern war because of all the people that are dieing. They should cancel all football games because of the corruption surrounding FIFA. They should cancel video games because they're making people do things in public that they shouldn't be. Really, it's quite comical. |

| Cancelling this is going a bit too far, all they had to do was delay it for a bit then release it. |

| Good choice, Because MA goes about that the world is going down. I mean if they play that game they would thinking to much about that Natural disaster. So to move on and not thinking to much about that its better to release the game maybe next year. |

| Yea, i think im wrong games are good to find your way out some problems and relaxation. A LOT people forgot about that what happend in games, That happend also in the world.. So conclusion is that games are based on real world and not Otherwise. And what goes around in the world is much worser. Than if that happens in a game |

| They did pull the Spiderman movie trailers that had the Twin Towers scene in them, and they cut the scene from the movie release too, so don't pretend this kind of stuff doesn't go on in North America. |

| The spiderman scene was pulled because the towers were gone and the scene used them. It really wouldn't make sense to use something you know isn't there anymore. |

| Japan suffered a major event with the events that followed the earthquake. I'm surprised it wasn't refused release in New Zealand, as buildings in Christchurch fell down and people lost their life. Of course our death toll wasn't anywhere near as high as Japan but as I sign of respect. Of course this game was released because everyone wants money. |

| This has nothing to do with WWII or the war on terror. The people of Japan just suffered a huge life changing event and SCE just doesnt want to offend anyone. Its their choice whether they release the game or not. |

You guys don't understand. Remember when America nuked Japan and then the Japanese version of Fallout 3 wanted the fatman referenced removed. It's called respect. |

| Seriously over the top reaction, ww1ww2 wasn't just life changing the whole world changed let alone a country I can't believe that they scrapped a racing game I mean seriously, it's just getting stupid these days, resistance 1 had Manchester cathedral as a war zone and it offended Christians so they re released without the level, ugh I'm lost for words like every 1 else says I now await CoD to be banned due to the terrorism factor |
