Take 2's latest financial report has revealed that Spec Ops: The Line has slipped from its fiscal 2011 release window - which would have seen the military shooter release sometime this autumn - to the Take 2's first half of fiscal year 2013. That puts the game's release date into 2012, with Take 2's fiscal year 2013 running from 1st April, 2012 to 31st March, 2013.
If Take 2 claims that the date will be in the first half of fiscal 2013, expect to see Spec Ops: The Line release sometime between April and September 2012. Spec Ops: The Line is a third-person shooter that takes place in Dubai, with sandy physics kicking up swirling sandstorms as you fight your way through insurgents and the city's once wealthy high rise buildings.
In other Take 2 news, BioShock Infinite is still on course for its calendar year 2012 release, which is good to know.
