| Dead Nation is the only game I don't have, but I don't want it. I don't mind though. I buy every game I want and it's not like they could do this with brand new games, so it was given that this wouldn't bring with it some amazing new games I didn't have. I'm just happy I can sync trophies again:D |

Very great choice to put Infamous for free, as Infamous 2 comes next month. It can bring TONS of players into buying the sequel. I'm going to take it when the Store comes back.
For the second game I think I'll take LBP. Dead Nation isn't really my game type. For Wipeout and R&C, I won't take them... As I already have them! :) |

The selection might not be the best - as some says there is a great possibility that you already got one or more of them. For me this is great as I was thinking about trying out inFamous before the sequel is out and was about to buy it yesterday, but decided to get Platinum in Lego Pirates first and that was £18 saved.
But again, there is no need to complain about what Sony offers, we are still getting the oppertunity to get free stuff for a service we don't pay for usually. Yes we've bought this system with knowledge of free online playing, but hacking aside and loss of information, no one has suffered from being offline for a month. And if you think you do then you need to get a life. |

| @45 dead nation is very good even better now that they have made some changes and added voice chat its very retro. i have 3 and a half outta the 5 so it will be R&C and Wipeout fury for me altho i aint happy with the list coz there quite old games except for dead nation. if they were choosen old games i would of liked to see warhawk and not so old modnation racers for a bit of multiplayer fun but hey there FREE so its all good. |

The 2 PS3 games you get to pick from the list of 5, you get to keep forever. They have nothing to do with PSN+.
The games you get from your 30 subscription of PSN+ will expire however once your 30 day subscription does unless you renew it. |

@60 If you were given a free voucher then you could go ahead and buy anything from a third-party developer. Then Sony would have to worry about paying them the difference.
I think we're lucky to get any free games. Asking for something new (although Dead Nation is only about 6 months old) is unrealistic. At least its a varied genre of games.
Personally, I'm pleased as LBP is the only one I have. I think inFamous and Dead Nation for me. |

Maybe I sound ungrateful but if you have every game on the list there really is no Welcome Back Appreciation program. Aside from free movies which may or may not suck. Europe got some games I wish I got though =[ but sadly I'm NA. Would of taken Ratchet and Hustle Kings gladly.
PS+ doesn't mean anything to me, I may get a good couple bucks off a download game but that will be it.
I think I'll download LBP/inFAMOUS and just trade my discs in...Better than nothing.

I'm deffo getting infamous (coz I've been thinkin about playing this for a while)
But then wipeout or dead nation, I used to play wipout all the time, but its a 9/10 to plat but yeah I love wipout. and dead nation the kill 53,596 trophy has come back to haunt me again lol, already done this twice. One in DR2 and prototype.

Dead Nation is sweet! I already Plat'd that and it was enjoyable, especially with a friend plus you now have online chat with it!
I already own them all except for R&C and infamous so i'll probably get those for the sake of it.
To be honest i just want PSStore back online because i've been craving some FFVIII nostalga so i wanna buy it :S |

i should have also noted that these games would have probably cost Sony around £15 - £20 for every user anways so they may as well have given everybody £20 store credit to get what they want.
Not that i'm complaining but that woulda been so much sweeter!

LOL, the only game I don't own is Hustle Kings and it's only available for German users.

Awesome list! Since i already have LBP and infamous i will be downloading Deadnation and startdust HD both games ive wanted to play but never purchased.
Im pretty awestruck at all of the complaining. When XBL went down for two weeks all microsoft gave away was that dusty undertow game... and they pay for that service.
Oh yeah and if your complaining that you already have all the games i would love to hear what you were hoping for. Seriously guys if you have all 5 titles you probably own way more games than the average gamer. It sounds like some people wouldnt have been happy with anything short of Portal 2, La noire, infamous 2.... |

I enjoyed Wipeout on the ps2 but none of the other games are remotely appealing. Got the Infamous plat, its a good game but I've moved on.
I actually wouldn't mind if PSN was still down, hardly switch it on now. |

| For all you people that feel hard done by for free games any already got them or completed them) (you could trade in your hard copy) and complaining about personal details being compomised every user get 1 free year 'identity fraud protection' details are following as they are working with renowned insurance companies to insure all users from their native countries. I was hoping for one or two PSN games that I don't own already. I don't expect new A+++ titles but I also don't expect titles that anyone who has a PS3 really should have.
LBP1? Come on if you haven't played it by now you just don't have interest in it.
inFAMOUS? It's a plugger for inFAMOUS 2, and again if you wanted to play it you would of by now.
Wipeout HD? Another game if you don't have by now you probably just don't care.
Super Stardust HD? If you don't have that by now you live under a rock because you're missing what is probably the best dual stick shooter in years.
Dead Nation is the exception, I think that's a cool game to offer. It' |
