| With all the preorder bonuses at separate stores, and DLC already being talked about, I think I'll just wait for the eventual game of the year edition that packages it all up for me. My backlog is big enough that I probably wouldn't play this anytime soon anyway. Really good news for people getting it at Best Buy, though, it's a nice incentive. |

Meh..heres the next cashcow...DLC on release date sucks. Gonna pass this one and get the GOTY edition next year or something. Im doin this with more and more games and it saves you lots of money. The game is great but to release DLC at the same day as the game..i mean..WTF! Put it on the disk already or drop the price for a new game.
In my opinion the DLC is just a way to get people pay more money for the same game. But this way it isnt obvious. If they raise the price of the game in the store with 9,99 shit hits the fan..but this way everyone is happy..dont get it..just dont get it |

| It sounds nice, but going to a midnight release? I'm too lazy for that. All I want to do is enjoy the game. It already sounds like it'll be packed gameplay, so I have no incentive to go for DLC. |

While everyone has a right to their opinion, after it's all said and done it's still just a game, no need to spew hostilities at one another.

it will be 18 months befor a GOTY comes out so may as well try it. if you dont like it, trade it in. it will have a high trade in for a while.
it looks really good though. different from just shooting everything all the time. the motion-scan for the faces looks amazing. |

| I'm grabbing it tonight. If EB's phone would fuckin open up, I could call and ask if there's gonna be a midnight launch. I don't know if there's enough preorders where I am. This game doesn't really seem like my kind of game but RDR didn't seem like my kind of game and it was and still is an awesome game. Imagine if we get DLC on the same scale as Undead Nightmare for LA Noire? Damn, that'd be insane. I've learned to love Rock* and I trust that they'll make LA Noire an awesome game. |

| @11 while i agree that a lot of times DLC is a rip off, this doesnt look to be releasing on launch day. read the ad carefully. it says you get a code for the DLC “when it releases”. so it could be releasing in a month or whatever, but you get the code early. |
