Hunted: The Demon's Forge developer inXile has taken great care in crafting its fantasy world, building something that's familiar but different enough to set itself apart from the rest of the fantasy genre. That means that you'll see variations and twists on the theme, which is also evident in the game's monsters and other enemies.

Your main foe in Hunted is the Wargar, who are a race of corrupted, orc-like creatures, transformed into feral beasts by their voracious consumption of a silver liquid known as 'sleg'. They strive to emulate the physical attributes of spiders too for some reason, which means that you'll also encounter infected Wargar with spider-legs growing out of their back. These Wargar will be imbued with magic and powers of teleportation.

If that's not quite enough of a challenge for you, then there's also gargantuan minotaurs to take down, dark female assassins with possessed staffs and their own powers of teleportation to contend with and a dark, powerful individual with questionable motives working behind the scenes.
