| I was thinking about getting plus but now it's like I'm getting a months trial run. This is awesome. On another note when the Wii made its internet free it gave everyone a free game of their choice from a limited selection so I was thinking Sony would do Something similar. |

| Playstation Plus is nice for a free 30 day trial. To bad I lose any free games that are purchased off of it though.Since I won't renew the subscription after this expires I can test out the free games almost like a rental. |

Still think this deal is no good - Qriocity is pointless & PS+ content will lock after the free 30 days, requiring a subscription to use. I wouldn't be surprised if the free "content" turned out to be a dynamic theme. |

| I hope the free content is good cause the PS+ is a marketing scheme. I never got upset about the outage, just kept playing my games but this actually upsets me that Sony is taking the outage as a chance to pimp PS+ to users. Also everyone make sure when you use that free 30 days that you dint get roped into an automatic renewal if you aren't interested in continuing. Also there is a good chance taking advantage of the free content will exclude you from the class action lawsuit if you decided to take part. |

Remember all you non PS plus subscribers who get 30 days for free, you wouldnt probaly dont have any advantage of it , if the PS store isnt going to be online before end of may .. but its a hidden adjenta in this because are sony just getting 1 million more annual subscribers on this they get there money back fast ... because online save isnt availble after the 30 days if you dont subscribe, an your PSplus free games isnt possible to play after this.
and my subscription is ending december next year in stead of november so for me its not a "plus" but lets hope when all the Freeloaders PS plus subscribtion is over, people who allready got the subscribtion before this happen are getting the Socom or Killzone 3 there have been romours about. |

| Personally i think this is a bonus,i mean, we dont pay for psn, playstation shut the service down for our own protection againt the f**kin deusche hackers, in reality they only have to boot the network back up but on top of that their giving us a taste of something i was kinda interested in anyways, i dont really care if i lose it after a month as ill probably be done with the content after a couple of weeks, we need to remember sony lost alot from this whole shabang yet they still giv us +, i'm just glad i havent paid for the service like xblive, i already pay for my internet an my games i dont wana pay for online gaming, even the wii offers a free service. it is what it is, you bought a ps3 over an xbox an if ur not happy go an trade instead of moanin all the god damn time |

Question: Are you guys and gals going to log back in as soon as PSN is back online? I myself am strongly leaning toward waiting a week or so to see if there are any complaints of performance or security after it comes back online. These hackers are smart. Maybe they planted some sort of code or something that can't affect you unless you are logged in? I am not the most tech savvy guy out there so i dont know if that is even possible, but i will choose to err on the side of caution.

I'm sure that it wouldn't be any dlc for a retail game. It will most likely be a psn store game with possibly any dlc that is for it, and even more likely is that it will be a game that was due to release during this time that the psn has been down. That way no one has the game and they can keep the option simple for them.
But, if it was the new DLC for black ops I wouldn't complain, the online is great and the new zombie thing looks to be one of the best thus far. |

| Well a free trial of PS+ and that music thing can't be too bad. I've just been backlogging my singleplayer games while it has been down which has been nice to get some old games up to 100%. So it looks like it's been pretty positive all in all for me unless someone has got my credicard details, that would suck. But now I'm pretty much done with the 5-6 singleplayer games I had left so can't wait for it to get back up though. |

Sony can't just give out free DLC as they please, they have to get permission from the company that makes the game (e.g You wont get CoD Map Packs because Activision are greedy as hell and they'd lose about $15million from PS3 users if they were to give maps out for free) |

I think a month of PS Plus anda free game is MORE than enough as an apology for something THEY DIDN'T DO THEMSELVES. Remember, this was due to hackers, Sony didn't all of a sudden think "ok, let's piss off our consumer base by shutting down the PSN"

Someone not having plus benefits more than someone who already has it, we should of gotten reinbursed with the days no matter what being that we PAID for it. | That doesn't sound like a very good deal. I'm a PS+ subscriber, and I'll basically be getting two free weeks. They say it's a month, but the PSN has been down (not their fault) has been down for almost 2 weeks. I paid for those 2 weeks with my subscription, and so an extra month is really an extra 2 weeks because of the time I lost. That being said I'm just glad the PSN is coming back soon! |

There wil always be hackers and IMO Sony is the one not being fair,.
and this is just a commerce stunt,.. don't you know how this works,. giving 1 month free PSN+ might as well be a coupon when the PSN wasn't hacked,.. its all just good publicity,.. won't cost Sony anything they prob end up with more PSN+ subcribers,...
Free DLC at choice would really be something i need,.. but thats just to $$$ as always,..
don't get me wrong i like me PS3 :) and i do buy stuff on the PSN but only whot i really want,..
as for the hackers,.. keep it up,.. a big company like Sony with a nice console doesn't mean they are fair. |

| I think the PS+ freebie is just a wasted "gift" with the stores still being down for how much longer we wont even be able to access that content in which we were intended to get. It was a nice gesture but an otherwise wasted one for people who have no intention of signing up for PS+ and ultimatlly had their credit card info hacked because of this ordeal. Though being a PS+ member would be "cool" I cant say it will be an ongoing commitment that I'll make with Sony only because things like this have shown up even after the "enhanced service" I am excited to get back online with MK but aside from that I dont see myself pursuing Sony's gifts anymore then I have too. |

| As for the people who argue about "Its not Sony's fault" they were asking for this, I've heard alot of rumours but the one that sticks out like a sore thumb is that the hacking group Annonymous(is that how its spelt I'm tired as shit) reralreated for Sony sueing the initial hacker who got into the system the 1st time. Think about it like this; "Get hacked once shame on them, get hacked twice shame on you." You cant disagree with that logic. They should buffer their protection on the servers OR have the people buffer it for them via a mandatory paid service to all. That would protect Sony from BS like this from ever happening again AND protect its users from those same people. If you dont have a crotch gaurd on and someone gives you a haymaker in the babymaker whos fault is it? Clearly you should have been better prepared for any situation and thats exactlly what Sony did not do. One thing people should NOT take away from my comment is me talking trash about the system. I love my PS3 and some of my favorite series/games are on that very system, and dont even get me started on the PS2. . . that was my dick.
