Driver: San Francisco Wheelspins Into US Stores on August 30th

Ubisoft has announced a US release date for the next instalment in the Driver franchise, which sees Tanner hitting the gritty streets of present day San Francisco in an array of the most desirable muscle and sports cars known to man.

After a nasty accident, protagonist John Tanner finds himself unwittingly stuck in a coma, able to shift between cars at will, which means if you're not happy with the rusty mess you're driving you can simply soar through the air like a ghost and instantly leap into any car you like. If only real life were like that.

Driver: San Francisco will be arrested and thrown into the US retail slammer on August 30th, 2011. Hopefully this means that the European release date will follow suit, which would make the EU launch land on September 2nd, 2011. Look out for a fresh Driver: San Francisco preview next week.

	this game was supposed to be out a year ago-they could at least have came up with a better story in that time.fuck off ubisoft i'll buy it when its 20 pounds

	This game has been delayed and delayed so many times, it's got to the point where I just don't care any more. It'll just be another glitch-fest like Driv3r.
