New Sonic 20th Anniversary Game Gets a Teaser Trailer

With SEGA registering 'Sonic Generations' as a potential game name recently and the emergence of this trailer today, it appears that the next Sonic the Hedgehog project may indeed be Sonic Generations, as the video shows classic-style Sonic racing against his smirking green-eyed present day counterpart.

The game will be coming to consoles as the end of the trailer confirms, although there's no name specified for the project as yet. We'd safely say that it'll feature 'Sonic' in the title and possibly even 'the' and 'Hedgehog'.

The as yet officially unnamed Sonic project, that could probably be Sonic Generations but hasn't been officially confirmed as such, will be coming to PlayStation 3 in 2011. Check out the trailer below.

It's so funny to see that the fanboys win. I mean, except if you're really nitpicking, there's really not much difference between the two. Green VS Black Eye, Slim VS Phat, and other nitpicky details. But it seems it's important enough to those fans, and I just hope that they can now all shut up and be happy to play with their classic Sonic :)

Great. Though the potbelly Sonic thouroughly annoys me. The modern version suits the blue blur perfectly.
