It's 2 for 1 on Operation Flashpoint: Red River news today, although it's not necessarily good news. First the bad news. Operation Flashpoint: Red River had been slated to release at the tail-end of this month, but it has now been pushed back a couple of months into June in North America. Apparently, the European launch is still on for April 21st, so it seems that the delay only affects North America. No reason was given for the game's delay, but Operation Flashpoint: Red River will now launch on June 7th, 2011 rather than April 26th in North America. Now the good news. Codemasters has released a new Operation Flashpoint: Red River developer diary - huzzah! - looking at some of the improvements that the development team have made to the game, including an AI overhaul, new animation, revamped handling and more. Check out the dev diary for the complete lowdown. And if you're still hungry for more Op Flash, we've got a lovely hands-on preview and an interview for you to read. Operation Flashpoint: Red River is out on April 21st in Europe and June 7th in North America. [Via IGN | Thanks, Bill] | |
