2K & Co. Team Together to Offer Free The Darkness II Comic Book on Free Comic Book Day

2K, Top Cow and the Free Comic Book Day Committee today announced that they would be creating an exclusive comic tie-in for The Darkness II in the form of The Darkness II: Confession, to give away to comic book fans on Free Comic Book Day...

It’s a day where they give out free comics...

Seriously.

The 32-page, full-colour comic will act as a prequel to The Darkness II, telling the story of Jackie’s rise to becoming the Don between the two games, and will be produced by Top Cow’s lead artists and writers in collaboration with 2K. Then on the 7th May, 2011, Free Comic Book Day, gamers will be able to wander into one of thousands of independent comic book stores worldwide to snag a copy of the comic.

“Top Cow has always supported Free Comic Book Day and this year we’ve created our best offering yet with The Darkness II: Confession, a prequel to the upcoming video game The Darkness II by 2K Games,” said President of Top Cow, Matt Hawkins. “In working closely with 2K Games on the comic, we’ve ensured that everything fits into The Darkness’ canon for long-time and new fans of Jackie Estacado. This free comic is a perfect primer for the game.”

So once again, that’s May 7th. Free Comic Book Day... a free copy of the The Darkness II: Confession comic book. Got it? Great.

	Is this just in the "US",? or does this include europe too.!? Im in "Scotland, UK" to be more precise.!! Its just that i got a Darkness comic along with my copy of "The Darkness" video game when it was first released & i would love to recieve this opne also to add to my collection of PS3 consoles, games, accessories, peripherals etc etc... Any info would be greatly appreciated; Thanks in advance. BIG_RAB

	EDIT TO ABOVE POST: i did a little searching through GOOGLE on the net & it turns out that i can get a copy of it from a shop called: "Forbidden Planet", SouthBridge, Edinburgh, EH1-1LL, Scotland.. Thanks again for the news regarding this event, (I had never heard of it before now)..

	It sure would be nice to know how this will be distributed worldwide. Great idea for the game's promotion. I will be sure to head over to the closest store to pick it up next month!
