Yes, because you weren't waiting months for a BLOPS patch either.... And THQ have produced some pretty epic games, so don't base your opinion just on 1. I for sure never want to get in your bad books... Keep taking those beta blockers though dude ;) |

This seems like saying they'd like to create huge IP's like Harry Potter, Pokemon, Star Wars or LOTR, but without anything of quality in the first place to build that on. Yeh, good luck with that. |

| THQ have done some good games in the past but i must agree with #1 that HOMEFRONT was really not worth a hard earned cash... i guess i'll just have to wait for this collaboration of THQ and Random House though... |

| @ #2 i totally agree with u bro. They did make few epic games, but trust me if u have played HOMEFRONT and know what am going threw to get this 1 online trophy which takes more than 120+ hrs online. Plus this time will go up due to the servers r soooooo SHIT. Then u'll understand my pain LoL. They claimed hey sold over 1 million. So they should get their ass's to work and release a patch already. That's all i ask. |

@2: CoD:BO is a great example of how a strong franchise can get by something like this by living off the brand name. Homefront is a new IP with issues that is an easy target because it's Dev, THQ isn't known as a great FPS Dev (they're not a bad one either, just compared to EA and Acti and so on). @1: yeah it sucks that the game has been out for a few weeks without a patch but see above how BO has the established IP behind it but it took them quite a while to get something going for that game. Saying you regret ever buying from THQ because of homefront is like me saying I regret ever buying from EA for how they handled the Brutal Legend servers (never updated). To this day, I probably buy the most EA games (not intentionally) and I greatly enjoyed Brutal Legend despite the online sn |

| Homefront is a perfect example of my point. They want it to be huge, they threw an unprecedented advertising budget at it, resulting in fairly decent sales. Then their share price dropped after reviews, and i expect many consumers will be a bit wiser next time. Worst mission statement for a games publisher ever? I see Thq becoming defunct in 3 years if this is their stance. |

Don't forget THQ's good titles. The two Double Fine games that they released were really awesome. And at the moment Red Faction is their huge and successful game. I haven't played Homefront but only because it looked like shit from the trailers. If you paid money for it after seeing how bad it looked and fell for all that marketing, then it's your own fault, but yeah, it was excessive marketing for a bad game. And if you consider a game "bad" because of an impossible or difficult trophy then that isn't the dev's fault, it's your own for being a trophy whore. Bottom line THQ has made good games Red Faction, Saints Row, and the old school ps2 Smackdown games were bad ass! Also that upcoming Guillermo del Toro/Volition game "inSANE" could be a promising turn for THQ. I envision it |
