PlayStation Move support, a new World Tour and online centre is just the tip of the iceberg for Virtua Tennis 4 on PlayStation 3, as SEGA is planning some PS3-exclusive content for the latest instalment in its long-running tennis franchise. Legendary players Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg and Pat Rafter will all be available from the moment you start up Virtua Tennis 4, as will two classic VT mini-games, making a return exclusively on PS3. Virtua Tennis's Pin Crasher mini-game is only playable with a controller and involves serving a ball to knock over bowling pins on the opposite side of the net. There's aso an exclusive mini-game designed for PS Move called Net Blitz, in which you use the Move controller to return balls into various sized nets. The smaller the net you hit, the bigger the score. SEGA is also designing a Space Invaders-style mini-game for Home Square, which will launch around the same time as the French Open. It'll arrive on Home Square from May 22nd. Virtua Tennis 4 is out on April 29th in Europe with a special Move Racquet Pack, May 10th in North America and June 30th in Japan. Check out the exclusive mini-games in the videos below and have a look at renders of the Legend players and a pic of the Racquet Pack. [Via PlayStation Blog] ![]() ![]() | |
