Frick! I was hopeing for a RE HD collection, but I wanted the Remake and Zero as I never played them.
Veronica was the worst in the series and RE4 was one of the biggest dissapointments ever to me...

| Awesome, I adore Resident Evil 4 and it is my favourite with Resident Evil 5 just behind. Never played Code Veronica X but can't wait to try it. This collection is worth buying just for Resident Evil 4. I hope it makes it to the UK and the US. Also @3 I have played the remake of 1 on the wii and it is terrible; the controls are all crappy. |

| I cant wait! ive been a massive fan since number 1 on ps1 an have gotten every game the day it came out since. Will be cool to have hd versions of code veronica an resi 4 but think they should do remasterd versions of 1 to 3 from the ps1 too that would be amazing!! |

RE4 is my all time favorite game!
I had the wii version and when I say I did everything on it...I did everything all it...I got all 4 secret weapons, notes, little blue gems or whatever.. I even did a 4 hour speed run!
I don't care if this was released on mars, I'm getting it regardless! |

| i used to be the most die hard resident evil fan ever. and as a fan of the original trilogy, the remake, 0 and CVX as well, but i must say... that I HATE resident evil 4! I'm by all means NOT saying that it isnt a great game, but it isnt a true resident evil game. No more zombies, and not even legit puzzles. Series was changed so much it shouldn't be called a resident evil game. Same with part 5. (I've played every res title except the gameboy one so i do know what im talking about before i hear hate) |

CV:X was a nice idea but the gameplay wasn't very good and the difficulty was uneven. I could get to the 1st boss and no further and I had a friend that managed to get to the final boss but gave up as it was so hard.
Resident Evil 0-4 is what I want, not the crappy spin-offs! |

I could really careless about playing Veronica-X again, however i've been waiting for Re4-hd for a while now, i own every Re4 in exsistance still, well cept that cell phone version.
It'll come to the states eventually, capcom needs the money.
What i wonder though, is will this "4" have "Move" support like the WII versions motion control, cuz it was alot of fun like that. |

To all the RE4 haters(the few there are). How fun would it be to still be clunking around pre-rendered environments with a top down view?? $ was the best thing that came to the Resident Evil series and the fresh new experience that we as fans needed as the old formula was getting stale. I played all REs except the gun games and couldn't be happier with 4. It had creepy environments, high tension, over the top enemies. And what do you mean no more zombies??? These were different zombies, smarter, faster, and didn't always die when you popped their head.
Even though I enjoyed 5 I don't think they went in the right direction. Rant over!! |

LOL @ people complaining about CVX and wanting Zero instead. Zero was retarded and retconned almost every aspect of the series. CVX is underrated, it is no worse than 2.
1, 2 and 3 probably weren't included because even in HD they wouldn't look as good. The remakes are now and forever Nintendo products and will not be released on another console. |

Outbreak is like AC brotherhood, kinda like a side story not to be confused with story progression. RE outbreak is a true RE game because at least it had puzzles & stayed true to what RE is all about. This is the kind of RE we all fell in love with. Not that new crap like RE 5.

| Cool thing about Ps3 is that it's not region locked, so if we had to we could import it. I wish the Game Cube versions of 0-3 would have been included as well, but we all know Capcom loves to milk the customer. If this sells well I'm sure we'll get the first 3 @ full retail price of 59.99 usd. |

| Pretty cool and all but I'm mostly hope that they are working on a new game as well, got to love the games that I put into the corporate espionage genra because you do tend to bust down evil companies in the series, namely umbrella. That and it is fun just not a scary series. |

I just hope they localise it for the UK. I understand why they are packaging the two together, but, at some point I would like to see a two more Resi Collections, Resident Evil 0 & 1 and Resident Evil 2 and 3, or a massive multipack of all four games, simply because Resident Evil 1-3 were three of my favourite PS1 games and I have never played Resident Evil 0 because it was never released on anything other than the Gamecube.
@ anyone asking if it's the PS2 or Camecube versions... What does it matter? If the package is released in the US & Europe and if it's released on PS3 then it will use the PS2 control scheme. |
