Having been delayed due to the tragic events of the Japanese tsunami, MotorStorm: Apocalypse has now been given a fresh release date in the UK having originally been scheduled to launch on the Friday just gone.

"We are very conscious of the parallels between these events and the underlying theme in MotorStorm and are doing everything we can to be as sensitive as possible to the situation," SCEE said when announcing the delay. "Although the game itself is already in distribution, we are ceasing any further shipments and removing as much of the marketing materials as possible."

While SCEA has indefinitely delayed the release of MotorStorm: Apocalypse in the US, the game will now release in the UK next week, on March 31st to be precise.
