Take 2 CEO: More Borderlands DLC Coming

Take 2 CEO: More Borderlands DLC Coming
Written Wednesday, March 03, 2010 by Dan Webb

Guess what tonight was? It was of course Take Two's first fiscal quarter results conference call and we all know what that means, right? News galore!

In the conference call Take Two CEO, Ben Feder, continued to sing the praises of Borderlands' sales and impressive DLC. Does that mean more DLC is on the way you ask? Well according to Feder, yes...

"We'll continue to support the title with more add-on content," the CEO said.

You didn't think that Knoxx would be the last one, did you?

What more could they add ? They refuse to add contents that add to the story of the 4 primary characters.

Seriously, this is milking now.

tbh as long as they dont repeat a mad moxxi style dlc i dont mind more from borderlands
maybe raising level cap even further?
Or even just another part of the story?

Wow, my percentage of trophies for that game will reach 20% by the end of the year if they carry on like this, despite me having a Platinum in it already!

Personally, enjoying the DLC. Mad Moxxi was the worst so far, but it was fun and it was a great challenge (especially if you had beat playthrough 2 so everything was level 50). Though I preferred Zombie Island. I'm working on Knoxx now, but my friend and I who would play it together have mostly been playing other games, so we haven't finished it yet, but I like it so far.

If they add something more innovative I'd be more happy to see those dollars drain from my account. Knoxx had a good amount of different content, which I like.

All in all, good game, good DLC. Keep it up.

I felt like Knoxx was a lot of driving; the areas were large, but mostly empty desserts... I loved Zombie Island. That felt like a lot of content to me and a lot to do; and you never need to set foot in a vehicle.

@5: Somewhat like Burnout Paradise ... I think its a 47% Platinum? LoL

@9: I completely agree. I love Borderlands to death. Me and brother play it together all the time, it's an excellect co-op game and I'm happy to hear there is going to be more of it.

I love watching my percentage in Borderlands decrease with every new DLC released. Upon getting platinum i swore i would never touch that game again, so my percentage will still drop :(

@ 12 very good idea mate.

I don't own any DLC yet for Borderlands but i here it's great! I think they made these before the release of the game and your idea of a new class should have been thought of too.

Yoshigirl is playing this like mad (and making me jealous!!!) but Skate 2 is currently ruling my life.

peace

Soon after starting that Mad Moxxi shit, my level 50 assassin save file went corrupt and now I lost all the data so hearing about a new DLC AS well as Knoxx just makes me feel even worse :(

I can't get enough of Borderlands, so I'm glad they can't release enough either. The two besides Moxxi were well-worth the $10.

Wouldn't mind getting the next add on since I did just about everything you could do first play through. About the only thing i didn't touch was moxi... had no idea it was based on your level of whose ever hosting. I think the whole bank thing was the only worth while thing about it. well i will wait and keep farming crawmerax till then since i have only killed him once and its easiest way to raise just about everything in the game. hope they add a new level cap so i can put points into skills that would help. later.
