Really sucks, but totally understandable. Probably would have made the same decision if I was them. |

Noooooooooooo, I under stand Japan and all. But why the US & UK ? Just go head and release it enless there's a problem with the game we don't know about. all well, I guess that leaves more time LA Noire. |

| I'm feeling sorry for the people in Japan, but I'm also feeling sorry for the gamers in the UK and the USA that have to wait so long until a great game like Motorstorm Apocalypse gets released. I'm happy that my country, Austria, didn't delay the game. It's a great and epic game that shouldn't be missed by any arcade racing fan. |

| Not going to argue. As long as Japan is okay after what happened, I can wait. Besides, this'll give me time if I can get my hands on Pacific Rift to play it. |

| Was it delayed because of the title? It will take years for Japan and Christchurch to recover so i'm sure the game will be out soon. At least it was axed like True Crime 3. |

| makes sense to me, north americans have friends and family who have been affected by the japanese tragedy. not everyones going to be exactly pumped to play a game thats supposed to be hypothetical but has some very real parallels right now. |

It's in stores here in Iceland, which is weird as we're on the UK network and get the UK versions of games. Wonder if the network will work for it until the UK releases it... Didn't buy it though, was at the store for a 2 for 1 deal on 2nd hand games :), got God of War III & Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood at a nice price. |

| @ 8 and 17: It's not just because of "Apocalypse" in the title -- it's because of the overall themes in the game. And because it's just a game, everyone should just chill and relax while Japan pulls itself back onto its feet. |

I applaud for having the decency to take somewhat of a financial hit for delaying the game, it shows real integrity. It'd be nice to see everyone who was thinking of buying the game donating the money they had for it to the japanese people. Also, at the risk of getting flamed for this, just consider how insensitive it would've been for the game to have been released shortly after 9/11. Now i know theres not acts of terrorism in motorstorm but i'm fairly certain there are buildings crumbling down in it. Just consider it. |

| i know its respect and all but if your stoping your game being sold then stop everyone not just a couple of countries why should us and uk stop getting it, i dont think us and uk gamers are gunna have a massive break down when there playing it or even be offended. |

This is silly. How does delaying a game have anything to do with respect? You've already made the game and it's not like the aftermath of this thing is going to go away in a few months. Sony doesn't have the balls to stand behind their product. Anyways, assuming Portal 2 and L.A. Noire aren't going to be "delayed" Motorstorm: Apocalypse just dropped off my shopping list. |

Meh, I hated the demo anyway. Although we've been told in the shop I work in that it's out on the 1st of april. Although I guess this will probably change now. |

So what difference will it make if it's released a month or two later? The situation in Japan will still be recent; it's not like Japan will be back to how it was by summer. :| Stupid. |

| It's a game revolving around earthquakes which happen frequently around the world (although not to this magnitude, but you have to have assumed that it could have been controversial at anytime. The game is done and was already shipped to suppliers over in EU, so why not just realize it? If you're that concerned about the impact on Japan and trying to be sensitive, then realize it and donate a percentage of the profit to the relief effort, as opposed to waiting a few months (when as others have pointed out, the earthquake and tsunami will still be fresh enough in several peoples minds anyways) and keeping all the profit for yourselves. Just a thought. |
