Wednesday, March 03, 2010 @ 12:33:36 PM WOW! what massive news! argos jumping on a bandwagon thats been going years now, bet they cant match gamestation or cex in trade in prices, and whats the point in getting argos vouchers? everytime you want something from them they're always out of stock or overpriced! |

Wednesday, March 03, 2010 @ 02:47:38 PM argos will rip you right off, they have good prices on some games, however, they never stock games, except bad ones, and new ones come out £10 overpriced, and they give you platinum editions of games, such as when i bought TES IV it was pictured as plain GoTY edition, but was Platinum GoTY edition, and looks out of place in my collection :( |

Thursday, March 04, 2010 @ 05:06:31 AM pre owned sucks end off. you buy it say friday you hate it trade it back by saturday and you get maybe 30 pound from your original 40 and the store pops it back on the shelf minutes later for around 38 (not actual prices just guess from previous experience) but you do get bugger all near what you paid and they do stick it on shelf close to full price. I WOULD RATHER SPEND FULL RRP AFTER ALL ONLY AN EXTRA COUPLE QUID MOST OF THE TIME AND HAVE A DISC NO OTHER HAND HAS TOUCHED some of these preowned you swear they ate their dinner of the disc. |

Thursday, March 04, 2010 @ 05:22:50 AM pre owned sucks end of? Argos are very competitive nowadays, this is a good thing IMO. @22 i have been going to the local grainger games up here in the Toon and get excellent rates back on my games. Assassin's creed 2 boxed with book - not a scratch for £22. And really, if you go out and buy a game for £30 (which is a lot to me trust me) why would you do it without any research? demos, video reviews, articles, forums all help mate. + Grainger Games and Gamestation up here in Northumberland do not accept broken disks and mine never show signs that "they ate their dinner of the disc". |
