Mass Effect 2 'Arrival' DLC Confirmed

View author's profile

BioWare isn't finished with Mass Effect 2 DLC just yet it seems, having bundled hours of the stuff on the Mass Effect 2 Blu-ray, as there's another chapter incoming, entitled 'Arrival. It has yet to be officially announced, so details are scant on the next ME2 episode, other than the trophies, which you can check out right here.

Or you can look at them below:

  • Ultimate Sacrifice
    Complete the Arrival DLC.
  • Last Stand
Complete all 5 waves in the battle for Object Roh.
  • Covert Action
Rescue Dr. Amanda Kenson without attracting hostile attention.

We'll have more on Mass Effect 2's Arrival DLC as soon as further details drop.

Please Bio, give me a break. I'll buy it with the GOTY version, as the rest of your games.

This is probably the best game I've played to date, so more DLC is always welcome!

At #4, you do know that the ps3 version has all the dlc on the disc to date. So it's already like a goty for ps3 owners! I have this as well on 360, but it was really cool to have all the extras already there!

Got it a month ago. Waited for the patch. Learned the patch didn't address the newgame+ glitch. Scoffed at DLC.

3 trophies is pretty low if you ask me I hope it adds more side missions too. I thought Zeeds DLC was rubbsih it felt when I completed it it could go on for another 2 more missions like a chase etc would of been great with a car chase like you get in the game like Star Wars lol.

The trophy descriptions bring some sort of big-time military action to mind. It'd be nice to be a part of some huge battle with other NPCs running around helping you.

@6 I agree. I played the first one on 360 2 years ago and loved it, however the combat wasnt as good as this one. I really like this one. Definitely one of the best games I've ever played on PS3, along with MGS4 and Batman Arkham Asylum. I really wish the first one was on PS3. The comic might be good at telling the story, but unless you experience the whole thing, your missing out. I cant wait for this DLC. I think this is the one thats suppose to cover Ashley/Kaiden.

@15. Ummm... no. Hard to call it DLC if its already there. Thats like saying disc is a ripoff, should already be on hard drive. plus' if its like Lair of the Shadow Broker and Project Overlord' thats another 4-8 hours of gameplay. About what Star Wars:TFU2 is. LOL

Battle for Object Roh? My first thought when I read this was the plan to remove the Geth from the Quarian home world. That would be an epic side story to add.

@15...Really? Most of the ME2 DLC is on the PS3 disk. Lair of the Shadow Broker came out last July. Arrival has probably been in development since that one was finalized.

Recently played this for the first time this year and it quickly became one of my favorite games of all-time. So, as others have said, more DLC is definitely welcome.

Also, its nice to see BioWare patch the PS3 version, even though I never had one problem, outside of one or two freezes, in my first 45 hour and subsequent/current 10+ hour playthroughs.

Amazing game. Can't wait for the new DLC, plus ME3 later this year.

People need to stop complaining about DLC. It is NOT mandatory that you play it. If you beat a game you get the same ending as everyone else. Unless it is a terribad game like Prince of Persia.

DLC is hardly expensive. If you are that hardup for money, playing video games is the least of your worries. I for one would of gladly paid 19.95 each for overlord, shadow broker and this. I mean there are idiots out there that pay 59.95 for a call of duty or sports game every year..which is basically the same game with a different background.
