Ah, snooker. Once a fondly-held pastime enjoyed in the smoky bars of my youth with the old man (my dad. Not just an old man), it's what I now find to be one of the most infuriating pub games ever. If I wasn't such a restrained and reserved gentlemen, I'd leap up onto the table, scuff up the baize and swing at the balls with the cue like a manic golfer. Stupid game. Suffice to say then, that real-life snooker takes far too much patience, but video game snooker, well that's a different matter. Koch Media has today announced that it's working on the oddly-titled World Snooker Championship Real 2011, with three-times World Champion, Ronnie O'Sullivan and two clones enlisted as the game's cover star and face. And for those with a shortage of patience like myself, WSC Real 2011 will include a feature that enables players to manipulate time to re-live and replay their best and worst shots. With a super slow-motion rewind system, players will also be able to replay their shots from any angle and any frame, with the option to even retake shots, which is a plus in our book. With real players, real venues and real tournaments, WSC Real 2011 is packed with lots of other snookery features too, including online multiplayer and more.
