With Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds' roster almost fully announced and complete, we thought we'd share some images of some of the Marvel side's alternate costumes that include various versions of Spider-Man, Hulk, She-Hulk and others, and unlike the Capcom characters, the outfits relate to actual comic book incarnations, such as Red Hulk, Iron Spider-Man, Age of Apocalypse era Wolverine and so on.

Over on community site, Capcom-Unity, you'll find a link to an article by Marvel's Chris Baker explaining the thought that's gone in to the alternate Marvel costumes, such as Spidey's symbiote threads, his Tony Stark-created red and gold number and his classic red and blues. The black and neon green though... It's based on a Dan Slott creation, but we've never seen it before until now. Check out Baker's full article on fans.marvel.com.

You can also get a look at every one of the alternate costumes - including the bizarre Capcom ones - confirmed for MVC3 so far (bar Haggar and Phoenix) over on Destructoid, which is where we cherry-picked the images below from. Marvel aficianados will already recognise most of these alternate colours, like Iron Man's default Adi Granov-inspired Extremis armour, his red and silver Centurion suit, dark blue stealth suit and grey iron outfit based on Stark's first mk.1 suit.
