Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers

DLC Added: Magic: The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers
Written Tuesday, November 23, 2010 By Dave Olsen

It's not often when a new game appears on PSN with DLC trophies included.  This would be the only time that I can remember where a game has released with three DLC sets.  Yes, Magic: The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers has three expansions on PSN along with the game.  The game will set you back $9.99, but each expansion pack will set you back an additional $4.99.  Each expansion contains new challenges, new unlockable decks and cards.  Each DLC set comes with three silver trophies for you to collect.  For those of you that have been storing your old cards in shoeboxes, this is the game for you to check out.

Expansion One

Dragon Slayer - Defeat Nicol Bolas in the single player campaign (Duel the Dragon)

Overkill - Control creatures with a total power of 75 or more (Duel the Dragon)

Puzzling Grandmaster - Earn Puzzling Master and complete all Duel the Dragon expansion challenges

Expansion Two

Last One Standing - Win a 3- or 4-player match on PlayStation Network

Overflowing Harvest - Put 8 lands onto the battlefield in one turn

Everything at Stake - Defeat Sorin Markov in the single-player campaign (Expansion 2)

Expansion Three

Tsunami of Pain - Deal 12 combat damage to an opponent in a single attack with one blue creature

Salt in the Wound - An opponent's last permanent leaves the battlefield

Madness Suppressed - Defeat Sarkhan the Mad in the single-player campaign (Expansion 3)

I hope this game will also be available here in Europe, I also downloaded it for XBOX, but since I don't want to pay extra for online playing (except MMO's ;) ), i want this game also on PS3 for the online option, since only battling the CPU gets pretty boring after awhile
