EA is bringing the harsh, uncaring natural world to life with 'Wildlife: Forest Survival' on the PlayStation Store. Casting players as a forest dwelling creature, the multiplayer title is a head-to-head battle to become the dominant species and well, survive obviously. “Wildlife: Forest Survival gives players the unique perspective of seeing the world through the eyes of an animal in the wild,” said Jon Dean, Executive Producer at EA Salt Lake Studio. “Experiencing the rush of pitting animals against each other, learning about the laws of nature, and feeling the thrill of the hunt, chase and kill is sure to make for a game that showcases survival of the fittest at its best.” Choosing from four animals, you'll journey through the forest and make the most of your chosen animal's strengths in 12-player multiplayer matches where you'll either be tracking prey or escaping from predators. Each animal has a special ability to help them in the battle for survival, so whether you're a rabbit, fox, hawk or an alligator, you'll possess some kind of helpful advantage in certain situations. There will also be eight unique maps, each playing to one of the animal's strengths. Wildlife: Forest Survival will be proving Darwin's survival of the fittest thesis when it launches on PSN in spring 2011.
