PS3 Version Of Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition Not So Ultimate In Europe

Punters picking up a copy of the European version of Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition on PS3 might be a bit disappointed to find that when they try and download the 'Return to Ostagar' DLC, it doesn't appear to work.

One of seven add-ons bundled in the definitive edition of BioWare's fantasy RPG, the Return to Ostagar DLC is listed in the disc menu, but doesn't actually load, which is a bit of a pain.

Apparently, EA is now aware of the problem and is working on distributing vouchers to those affected. If you've encountered the issue, you can give EA's Customer Support a call and have the content added manually to your PSN account. Hit the link for the details.

Dragon Age: Origins released last month, presumably to get players caught up in time for Dragon Age II in March 2011.

It won't affect me, I've already downloaded the Return to Ostagar DLC from the Playstation Store anyway

@3: lol, I just started my first Dragon Age last night, and already noticed several little glitches after just an hour of p/t.

Once again, EA with the letdown. I feel bad for our EU brethren. But maybe there's a chance they'll make this DLC code persistent and region-specific.

@ #7: One bronze trophy but it had one of the best swords in the game! The armor wasn't too shabby either. Return to Ostagar does give more of a sense of closure to the betrayal, much more than closure than Witch Hunt...

Ultimate Phail.

I was thinking about getting the regular edition for this game because you can get it for dirt cheap -- if I liked Mass Effect does that automatically mean I'll like this?

Even if the one dlc doesnt work, it is still worth buying as all the other dlc's you get is worth more than the actual cost of the game! (well it was for me)

If you buy it now, the disc still has this fault, but the package contains a leaflet with a PSN-Code. It says to enter this code from within the game, which won't work. You have to enter this in the PSN store and download and install it like any other DLC.
