Dead Rising 2 'Sports Fan Skills Pack' Out Today

Continuing the range of themed costume packs for Dead Rising 2 this week is the Sports Fan Skills Pack, which grants Chuck a variety of different perks, such as the ability to deal increased damage while using sports-themed items like golf clubs, golf balls, basketballs and so on.

Footballs, basketballs and other sports balls also bounce for longer than usual before stopping, giving Chuck the opportunity to hit far more zombies than he normally would be able to with a throw. Chuck also has a new charge and tackle attack for rushing zombies and taking them down fast.

And finally, with the Sports Fan Skills Pack, Chuck will also earn more money from gambling and can drink excessively without getting sick. Food and drink items will also give him more health. The Sports Fan Skills Pack is out later today on the PlayStation Network in North America and is out tomorrow in Europe for $1.99/£1.59. Next week's Ninja Skills Pack will be the final skills pack. Check out the Sports Fan video here.

So let me get this straight you have to pay for a small extra thats probably already on the disc just to enable him to give out more damage when wearing or using sports themed items.

Yes it's £1.60 but it should be free to all those who have bought the game at full price these little things should be a small FREE bonus to full game buyers in my eyes just sad. If your going to pay for something to this game then it should be a massive expansion to the mall etc not little pieces of stuff like this.

@1 i kinda don't think these packs are on the disc. i had to go on the psn store to download a compatibility pack to play with a friend who had the ninja dlc. but yes, it is kinda crap to have to pay for such a small add on.

Completely agree. Capcom is beyond ridiculous with their supposedly "DLC." I remember EVERYONE waiting for RE5 DLC and once it came out it was the most dumbest thing ever. It was really a disappointment.

And then they keep giving up these stupid costumes and such that we don't care about at all. Give us expansions, Case 0, or WAIT, even better yet, stop giving X-box all the expansions. Atleast try and pretend that the only reason you are a successful mainstream video game company is because you had a steay relationship with Sony, that'd be great.

I got an idea... They should release a DLC were every zombies are mutated into humans and you can interact with them and drive cars and hit them.. Oh wait it already exist
