PES 2011 Gets Free DLC Next Week

Konami today announced that the first piece of DLC would be heading to PES 2011 owners on Tuesday, October 12th.

The free DLC - or update is probably more appropriate - will include updated player roster files while updating the UEFA Champions League dedicated modes with the teams that qualified in the qualifiers recently. The update will also introduce a number of the newer kits (i.e. England's for instance) and four more licensed boot styles - as shown below.

If that's not enough, how about three new wallpapers as well featuring the little wizard that is Lionel Messi, which will be available in the 'Extra Content' folder... whatever that means.

Expect more updates "during the coming year" says Konami.

or you can just get Fifa 11 where u already have all of the teams and Squad Updater IN THE GAME.

@8 because people will buy fifa no matter what.... fifa never ever changes, just updates to the teams and kits.... out of the 2 demos (pes11 fifa11) I tried, pes was far more the better footballing game in my opinion, it felt a lot smoother and an overall more realistic game play.

Just because Fifa sells more doesn't mean it is better!! might be more popular, yes, but definitely not better.

and no, I won't be buying either of them, same as the last few years.

@5+9 ive always been a PES fan but PES has been going downhill lately while Fifa is getting better
Career =
Pes = Master League RUBBISH be a pro GOOD
Fifa = Manager Mode = AWESOME be a pro/goalkeeper GOOD/OK

Pes master league isnt good enough i like using small league team making them better PES is ONLY for top league fans

Well I guess running up the pitch with any player is strategy. ( Even on Top Class Difficulty)
IT MUST BE STRATEGY BECAUSE IT SAYS SO RIGHT HERE IN THIS COMMENT.
The PES era ended with PES 6
The FIFA era started with Fifa 09

lol do know how u can even compare pes 2 fifa.....fifa smashes it....all u pro evo fans r livin in the past tryin 2 relive the glory days,but them dayz r ova fifa's no1,as close 2 real football as ur gonna get,maybe u guys aint got the skills 2 play fifa thats why u stick with pro evo.....lol

@9, it never changes? what about the new career mode and be a pro goaly?
admittedly pes changes more but that's because they have more ground to make up, such as licenses etc.
