Extra co-op maps sound interesting.Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 11:14 AM
Thats a pretty good deal considering the price of most RC toys cost a fair bit.Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 11:15 AM
I do hope that the 4 extra co-op maps will be released on the PS Store or XBOX Live Marketplace, i dont want to pay £129 just so i can have them maps along with other stuff i dont wantThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 11:28 AM
#3 i totally agree i dont wanna buy a different edition just to get them.Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 11:33 AM

Why have you put up the 360 picture and not the PS3 one?Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 11:41 AM
There's only a camera in the front. That means that you can't take upskirts lolThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 11:49 AM
4 co-op maps are probably zombie maps from WAW, which would be awesome.Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 12:09 PM
#3 to be honest, i don't think you even need to worry. Generally, stuff like that gets put on the store eventually anyway.Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 12:21 PM
#9 the original zombie maps would be epic i would be dempsey or nikolia all the timeThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 12:28 PM
Nice :')Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 12:55 PM
There giving quite a bit of stuff to be fair, but i doubt many people would get it because of it's price. Still, nice idea by Treyarch to include what they are in the special edition.Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 01:06 PM
Not gunna get this edition. I'm just gunna buy the RC car online later on. lol. Maps should be on PSN store 3 months after the games release.Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 01:40 PM
Ill get hardened new map right away will be nice no way in hell a remote control car is worth $70Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 01:50 PM
#7 they only do xbox ones because they have a deal with MSThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 02:03 PM
@16 wrong this will be for both systemsThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 02:08 PM
well I think the hardened has only four exclusive maps and the game without the rc car like mw2 has the code to download classic and artbook without the night vision googlesThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 03:00 PM
If terrorists buy this theyll have a new way to blow shit up! Just strap some explovies on.Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 03:09 PM
#17 Yes this is for both systems but what post #7 was asking is why they upload a photo of the Xbox 360 edition and not PS3. A must pre-order for me :) all my games so far is one month pay lolThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 04:15 PM
Hardened Edition for me since I already plan on getting the CE of Fallout New Vegas. I ain't rich enough for both.Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 04:19 PM
gonna skip this prestige edition cuz i allready drive RC nitro cars this looks like cheap toy so just the hardned edition for me .....i thinkThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 05:30 PM
Even though black ops runs on the same engine as Mw2, i liked what i saw from the Multiplayer teaser so i'll be getting this game's Prestige Edition, it isn't as retarded as MW2s NVGs and my sister loves these kind of toys. I'm interested in the maps, artbook and medal(lol). Hope Treyarch doesn't screw BOps up like IW did with MW2.Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 05:51 PM
Nick need this....Prob only hardened if all the presteige has diff is the car.Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 06:33 PM
Getting hardendThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 06:34 PM
woop apparently gamestop are saying the 4 co-op maps are the original zombie map from waw, just with upgraded graphics, that will probably mean no glitches as wellThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 07:45 PM
who wants a rc car with a war game what a waste of money at least night vision googles had something to do with a wa5r theameThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 08:08 PM
@27 the artical clearly states that the rc car is a model of something used in gameThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 08:29 PM
@ 27 they use that stuff all the time in war ive seen on the discovery channel, i might get this becuase i never really get any big editions it this or the gran turismo signature editionThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 09:05 PM
should i buy the normal edition or buy harden edition hmmm depends on what black ops co-op is it like zombies or is it like spec ops? hmmmmmmThursday, August 12, 2010 @ 10:35 PM
EVERYONE: The four co-op maps are the original zombie maps updated with the black ops engine. Proof Here: http://www.codblackopsnews.com/2010/08/12/gamestop-employee-accidentally-confirms-zombies-for-black-ops/Friday, August 13, 2010 @ 12:15 AM
I wonder what co-op going to be like hmmm.Friday, August 13, 2010 @ 12:26 AM
I think i'm not getting any version of this game. Same shit as MW2 judging from the looks of trailer. Stupid killstreaks... :(Friday, August 13, 2010 @ 12:26 AM
It's gonna be another camper's heaven.Friday, August 13, 2010 @ 12:53 AM
Na I doubt it will be a camper's heaven. IW screwed up big time by having huge areas with one access point to camp from. This will be better :)Friday, August 13, 2010 @ 02:55 AM
This looks like a great deal. But let me get this straight, there is the Remote Control car in both editions? Hardened and Prestige? If so, are they both the same price? or is the Hardened edition $79.99 like MW2? Someone please let me know, just a little confused.Friday, August 13, 2010 @ 03:26 AM
The prestige edition is the ONLY one that has the RC car :) the prestige edition includes EVERYTHING that the hardened edition does. The prestige edition is $300 NZD and the hardened is sold out and it's only day one...Friday, August 13, 2010 @ 03:43 AM
£130 Can go towards so much better than a stripped down pound shop RC car.Friday, August 13, 2010 @ 06:35 AM
dont like gimmicky toys , unless theres a good statue like the mw2 soap winter camo one ill get the normal oneFriday, August 13, 2010 @ 07:51 AM
£130 seems a bit pricy, hope they release the maps to the storeFriday, August 13, 2010 @ 10:49 AM
i think some of these bundles are becoming ott. they should stop wasting money on them and focus it on giving ua better online servers, content and longevity.Friday, August 13, 2010 @ 02:50 PM
Well I already have mine Pre-Ordered ;DSunday, August 15, 2010 @ 05:44 PM
ZOMBIES WILL NEVER DIE!Thursday, August 19, 2010 @ 02:01 AM

Activision has just revealed the Call of Duty: Black Ops Hardened and Prestige Editions, which come bundled with the usual OTT collectible stuff you'd normally expect from this kind of release.
Instead of a set of night vision goggles and a sculpted Soap McTavish head, this time you'll be able to buy the game with an RC-XD surveillance vehicle - the remote-controlled car with a bomb strapped to it that you'll be able to use in the game. This one's a fully working replica toy that you can mess about with for real though, although the bomb component will be absent. What were you expecting?!
So, you won't be able to drive it into your cat and detonate it. It does have a range of over 200 feet however and a built-in remote camera which transmits images back to the monitor on the controller. Perfect for spying on people getting changed or sitting in a toilet cubicle.
The Hardened Edition will be bundled in the Prestige Edition package with the car, and includes a special steelbook case and a card to redeem four extra co-op maps. [Update] Apparently, the four maps are updated Zombie maps from World at War (Thanks, Jesse).
HMV, Game and GameStation are taking pre-orders in the UK for the editions, which are retailing for £129.99 and are due out at the same time as the standard release on November 9th, 2010.
