ModNation Racers Update 1.02 Has XP Issues

Has there been a PlayStation 3 patch that hasn't encountered some sort of bug or issue lately? We're struggling to think of one at the moment, what with Firmware 3.41 doing things to hard drives and now ModNation Racers Update 1.02 delivering a problem of its own.

Released yesterday, the new patch gives the game improved loading times, better online stability and adds a new 'casual' difficulty mode, but what it also does, which it shouldn't, is introduce an issue that affects online XP Races and XP Series.

Sony revealed the problem via its PlayStation Twitter feed, assuring ModNation Racers fans that "We're working on a solution to resolve the issue".

Hope they fix the xp races...

Casual mode doesn't change a thing.
The AI is still killing me :(

Improved loading times , Thank god.
I thought I was the only one who thought the loading times were so long

1st Ps3s have HDD issues 2nd LBP Have Failed to load level
cos of the Ico Dlc but Now ModNation.

Yeah right. Loading doesn't feel different to me, Casual's the same, only some of the mission have changed, but I'm not complaining, and I thought they were gonna fix the Verizon Westell modem problem but I was wrong.

Even if I don't have connection to this game, for those that are lucky enough to connect, they still have problems playing XP races. I saw comments on the MNR forums. Nice job, UFG. : Don't expect me to play True Crime 3.

With so many different PS3 SKU's out there, and so many different types of networking equipment there will always be problems like this. However, I do agree that quality control could be a lot better.

I Sold MNR a month or 2 ago .Beat the story mode didnt think it needed Casual...Hated the load time . I wish they added Created Tracks in XP got kinda boring racgin the same tracks every day . Trying to grind to get to top level was a pain .

In Italy i haven't the new "casual" difficulty yet... i've only the 2 of the original game... why??? I need it to complete all challenges! Any ideas?

i was doing d4d to get creator trophy just got it wanted to race all the to the rank 30 trophy the only two missing to get platinum i guest i have to wait.

Typical you wait for months for a huge patch to iron out the bugs and it creates new ones, sheesh, I mean don't get me wrong I love the game, but just certain aspects of it kinda spoils the end result for me!
