| you get a code to get this free if you buy the divine edition, which also comes with a making-of, digital copy of story, art book, and more for no extra cost and is only for ps3. finally EA did something cool for ps3 owners! |

| Actually, the DLC you get free in the PS3 version is "The Dark Forest". The Trials of St. Lucia is PAID DLC to be released at a later date (hence the April 29 release) |

| Usually DLC announced before a game is even released just pisses me off because I simply view it as a tactic to sell you an incomplete game and pay more for the rest, but something that adds this much to the experience seems actually worth it. Kudos. |

| @11 look at comment #4, he explains it... And like Faulknor said, I usually see DLC before a game is even released a rip off because if the team spent that much time coming up with DLC, why not integrate it into the game. But seeing as how they are letting you create your own levels now maybe it needed to be left out. Still might get it if it is under $10 |

This is probably the only thing that interests me about the game. The marketing campaign for the game has been both idiotic and detestable, not to mention downright unflattering of the company, and the game itself looks last gen (quoted from a few sources who have had time with the game). Its too bad, really. A game based off a book, with its basis in theology, could have been good... maybe the novel based on the game based on the book will be good, though. XD |

@9 You must be naive to think that the marketing of DLC before the release of a game turns into an incomplete offering from the developer. Early announcement of DLC is a company's way of showing that they want life for the game after the release. How many times have we all bought a game in the past and got to end just to say, "That's it! WTF?!" Also if you read the information about this DLC, it involves a completely different character and not Dante directly. Also with the addition of a level editor, that definitely shows that Visceral wants you to play the game for more than trophies, more than just the story itself. As for the developers, I haven't heard of them leaving anything out of this game. It is the Inferno poem in its entirety, but with the twists that a game develope |

| DLC can be developed in the month-month and a half between a game being finished (going gold) and being delivered to retailers. Sure, not all DLC is created equally (100kb unlock keys), but this one seems to be something reaally new. Plus, it will be released in April which is almost 3 months away (do the math). |

| so i looked it up and i guess the dlc that comes in the divine edition is the dark forest, which is like a prelogue. its the first chapter in the book. it looks to very psychological. still pretty cool though. |
