Even More Dragon Age DLC Coming With 'Golems of Amgarrak' [Updated with Screen, Date and Price]

Even More Dragon Age DLC Coming With 'Golems of Amgarrak' [Updated with Screen, Date and Price]
Written Wednesday, July 28, 2010 by Richard Walker

Finished 'Leliana's Song' yet? Good, because there's another dose of Dragon Age DLC on the way, called 'Golems of Amgarrak', which apparently kicks the difficulty up a notch, making it the hardest DA add-on chapter yet.

Obviously, the game will include large and challenging enemies, most likely in the form of the titular rock golems, and will primarily focus upon combat, although there'll be puzzles and treasures to unearth as always.

During 'Golems of Amgarrak', you'll follow Jerrik the dwarf on a search for Brogan, his lost brother. If it's a tough combat challenge you're looking for in Dragon Age: Origins, then 'Golems of Amgarrak' will scratch that itch. And the few new dungeon mechanics and new story elements with Jerrik and Brogan, won't hurt either.

[Update]

'Golems of Amgarrak' will be available from August 10th and will cost $5. Check out the lovely screen below.

Love the game, but recently sold it, previously bought a few of the DLCs but couldn't justify buying yet more (especially with Awakening at such a high price!

One day I'll peel back the plastic and play this game...got all the DLC already downloaded and ready to go for when I do.

But WOW, do they need to release a DA 2 when they keep putting so much ito this one? I can see a $60 or $80 GOTY edition dropping before the Holidays and before DA 2

Hell...seems like they stripped the normal DA and they are releasing the "complete game" now tru DLC content. Ripoff..love the game but this is nuts

I'll give BioWare credit, they definitely have stretched the life of DA:O out. Beat the game once, bought the Return to Ostagar and Awakenings DLC and haven't played either yet. I hope I'm able to finish them before DA2 comes out or I'm gonna have one hell of a backlog.
