"Whooooaaaa! Jams it in!" That's a familiar soundbite from our Mega Drive (aka SEGA Genesis) days when NBA Jam and NBA Jam TE would take up hours of our time, with its ridiculous slam dunking action and end to end two-on-two arcade basketball.

All of that's set to return on the PlayStation 3 according to both German classification board the USK (UnterhaltungssoftwareSelbstKontrolle) and America's ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board), who have both issued ratings for Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game.

NBA Jam was released on every console known to man back in 1993, so it would make perfect sense to have the EA Sports reboot come to 360 and PS3 as well as  the Wii.
