Sucker Punch made a bold decision to change the look of Cole completely for inFamous 2, ditching the shaved head, gaunt features and yellow garb for a darkly dressed, tattooed muscle man with a comparatively lustrous barnet.

At this year's Comic-Con in San Diego however, the developer handed IGN an envelope containing new images of inFamous 2's Cole, which shows an about turn, as Cole will now look more like he did in the original game, which certainly makes a lot more sense in terms of continuity.

So, cast aside the image of Cole seen in the E3 2010 trailer, and get used to the idea of playing as a Cole more in keeping with the first game. There are currently no images to support the news of the decision to revert back to the new-old style, but word is that he does look more like he's supposed to.

inFamous 2 is slated for an electrifying 2011 launch.
