Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Interview: Jean-Francois Boivin Talks ACB's Multiplayer

While yesterday's interview with Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood's Associate Producer, Jean-Francois Boivin, focused on ACB's brotherhood mechanics. Today we turn our attention to the game's multiplayer.

After winning the "Best Online Multiplayer Game of the Show" award from the E3 critics panel this year, Boivin was obviously in an upbeat mood, but with Assassin's Creed's roots firmly locked in its single player, we ask the key question, does it detract from the single player?

Can we expect more modes? Is it here to stay? All these questions and more are answered by Boivin.

Check back tomorrow for the concluding part of the three part interview where we look at the franchise and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood as a whole.

  • big fan of Assassin's Creed but not sure if Multiplayer will work..(wot do you think)
  • Im sure it willbe ok not great but ok for the moment and remembre boivin said it has a story and it is as single player and it will carry on with AC story line...
  • If, like they say, they have worked hard to fit it into the story and mechanics, i think it will be excellent! Lets hope that they keep supporting it after release day! Can't wait until November. Roll on Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
  • Multiplayer sounds better then story if you hire assassin's wheres the fun.
  • I hope the multi-player works but if not there should be some great single-player to fall back on
  • Well that told us nothing
  • Assassin's creed 3 out in march 2011 doesn't have ezio in!
  • @4: You don't have to hire other Assassins though. He said that in the last interview, so if you don't want to you don't have to. @7: I seriously doubt that they could put out another AC game only 4 months after Brotherhood comes out. If anything, the next one (which will probably be the third and therefore final one) will come out in 2012.
  • I think the multiplayer will be ok, but not the best seeing its the first for AC.
