PlayStation Move Bundles Revealed and Priced

PlayStation Move is on the way, but simply buying the new motion controller might not be as simple as you think it will be come launch day, what with Sony unveiling a range of different bundles to cater for the varying needs of today's PS3 gamer.

For those of you that already own a PS3 (if not, what are you doing here?) and a PlayStation Eye camera, all you'll need is the standalone 'PS Move Motion Controller' - two or more if you're looking to play multiplayer games - which will set you back $49.99 each. Oh, and bear in mind that if you're planning to buy Move for The Fight: Lights Out, you'll need two motion controllers.

If you have a PS3, but no PS Eye camera, then the $99.99 'PlayStation Move Bundle' will be ideal, since it packages one Move controller with a PS Eye, a Move demo disc and a copy of Sports Champions to get you started.

Finally, if you're stood in an empty white room, with just a flickering television waiting for something to be plugged into it, you can grab the PlayStation 3 Sports Champions Move Bundle, which gives you a PS3 Slim console, Move controller, PS Eye camera, a Move demo disc and a copy of Sports Champions for $399.99.

And just one more thing... You can also pick up the PlayStation Move Navigation Controller for games like Heavy Rain where you control a character, although this isn't essential. A standard DualShock 3 will work, but it'll be comparatively unwieldy. the nav controller will cost $29.99.

PlayStation Move and all the accompanying bundles will be out on September 19th.

I've got a camera, so I won't get a game if I buy the controller? $49.99. I assume it will be the same price in pounds - £49.99. We always have to pay more! In my case whatever extra for the Sports game as well.

If you buy the Eye, Nav and Move controllers individually, it is cheaper than buying the $99 bundle plus the Nav controller. But you won't get the game.

@8 i thought the camera picked up the remote by the position and angle of the light bulb on its top.

those accesories look like they will slightly hinder its ability at specific angles.

thoguh i like the sword one :)

Im not going to get any of the new motion control crap. Motion control is so stupid. It just doesn't feel like im playing a game. I hope it is just a fad like im hoping 3D is. I don't want to waste money on it either. I have a Wii and literally haven't played it for a year. Is it just me or is Nintendo getting old. They need to make new characters or more hardcore games. So ya motion control is retarded.

Now that I know the bundle cost, I'm giving it more consideration since I don't own a PS Eye. $100 isn't so bad considering you'll be getting $100-worth of hardware and a $60 game.

@11, you mean like the Dualshock remotes have come down in price :P I can't see it getting much cheaper any time soon. May just have to suck it up and drop the coin.
