| Why should there be plans for a sequel??? The game was absolute shit. In fact, other than Bayonetta, all Sega games are garbage |

| its such a shame as it did have potential they should've held off a little longer to fix the games many creases and bugs and made the beginning far more interesting then it would've been a great game that would demand a sequel. |

| maybe they should consider making a sequal, that is, if they wont delay it numerous times just for it to come out looking like crap. |

I honestly agree that there shouldn't be a sequel. Even though I haven't played the game, but looking at some of the reviews, gameplay, and hearing one of the developers say that this shouldn't have been released, they're doing the right thing. Besides the game only sold well to people who want a platinum. |

| For a game that that got delayed almost 2 years, they sure did fuck up a good idea. Why should they make a sequel? |

RPG's are my favorite Genre, I don't just get games to platinum. This one could have been so much more, but like stated, SEGA is known for taking a perfectly good idea and ruining it. |

| Valkyria Chronicles might be the best game on the PS3, saying SEGA only makes bad games is blasphemy. Alpha Protocol does deserve a beat down, although fun it had way too many problems and shortcomings that could have been fixed which turned it sour. |

@1 you mention their only really crap game they brought out, I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. I liked this game alot because of the plot, storyline and they did a great job with how many paths the story could take. Then again I also didn't see why people say the game had problems, like the bosses being too hard, only one boss was hard, and sometimes the graphics could look not so great, but again rarely and not that annoying. |

@ 17 yeah i dont see how that really effects a game that much. if critics bash a game but gamers love it, word spreds and it will sell. example, army of one. critics bashed it but gamers played it and enjoyed it. anyway i dont pretend to know how that stuff works anyway. just my two cents. |

| The game had issues sure, but it was good. If they'd done a sequel they could have tweaked it and made it a fantastic game. Still, glad I bought it. |

| I'm with the "It had potential" group, it was interesting and I'm glad I rented it but obviously it wasn't perfect, oh well another developer can have a try one day |

not a surprise, just like 1st poster said, game was shocking, what potential did this game have I ask you, mass effect has got this genre licked, AP doesnt even come close. |

| It was a great concept, but horrible level design, crappy AI, broken stealth mechanics and I'll say it again, horrible level design, made this game an absolute displeasure to play. |

I'm still going to play this eventually, but given what most have said here about lack of execution with a good idea, it's not surprising that there won't be a sequel. @18: And sometimes the opposite is true. Take Modern Warfare 2 for example. Critics were swooning over it, and I'm sure that I'm not alone when I say it fell short of expectations. |

| I don't fully understand why developers don't do sequels based on sales. Yes, I know it's all about that "Money, money. Yeah, yeah!", but if they did it right, a sequel can be a HUGE hit, even if the first one wasn't. |

| I liked the first game and I was hoping that there would be a sequel to it. I would of liked to see the game get fixed in the sequel. It could of been great. Oh well...guess I will just have to get my fill of the first game. |

Mass Effect? Tss. When it comes to decisions and control over how the story unfolds, I've yet to play anything that left me more satisfied than Alpha Protocol. The gameplay in general, though, is pretty lame if you're not going with a Stealth-character. Still, replaying it as we speak, and while I wanna plat it, I'm opting for a guide-free playthrough once more, because I wanna see where I end up this time. |

| @24 YES It Was Indeed Made By Obsidian, But What Most People On The Internet DON'T KNOW Is That Publishers (EA Games, Activision, Rockstar Games, Bethesda Softworks etc.) Only DISTRIBUTE Games, They DON'T Make Them. |
