Assassin's Creed 2's DLC Launch Trailer Sprouts Wings

As it’s becoming more and more of a trend, tomorrow’s piece of downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed 2, The Battle of Forli, got its very own launch trailer today – it says something about the importance of DLC if you ask me.

The Battle of Forli, which looks to fill in the blanks that were missing from the game for sequence 12, is landing on the PSN tomorrow for the low-low price of $3.99.

The episode in question failed to make the final game due to time constraints and sees Ezio head back to Forli to assist Caterina Sforza against some unwanted visitors. Uh oh!

The Battle of Forli is out tomorrow.

Still wished they decided to add trophies. I really do wonder if it will hurt the sales in the long run. Maybe they will add some for the second DLC.

So if it was supposed to be in the final game anyway why dont they just give it away for free? They didnt even take the time to put trophies in it.

Cannot wait to pick this up tomorrow. Maybe I'll just skip AC1 and then play AC2 instead.

@ #5 You'll appreciate ACII more if you play AC first... just sayin'. Maybe give it a rent, at least, 'cuz AC is still a great game and you'll appreciate the dialogue and flavor text all the more in ACII with AC under your belt.

As for this, definitely a must buy... Ubisoft is still doin' DLC right this generation - one of the few developers to be doing so.

A great game with new DLC deserves trophies, but doesn't stop me from spending $4.00 for the new DLC!

@10

STRONGLY AGREE.

This game is fun!

@5

I put off playing AC(1)--I made it just past the tutorial (I recall kicking a stack of logs off a ledge, crushing a bunch of soldiers.. were they templars?) Then I got side-tracked with other various games such as Fallout 3. I can't say whether or not AC2 is times better than the first game but I highly recommend playing it, and getting DLC for cheap dollars instead of 10-15$ apiece.
