| How many MMA games do we need? I'm a HUGE fan of the sport but with UFC Undisputed and EA's MMA I think we're good. |

| I hope they make something good out of this game. I wouldnt mind finishing a fight off with a fatality or something of that sort. Maybe you can sneak weapons in the ring, or something like that to set this apart of UFC games. |

I've never heard of either of those studios :S . I'm not much of a fan of fighting games, so I won't pick this up. |

Wow... a game with a facebook, twitter and myspace page ... but no official website. The game looks drab and boring, not to mention I dont understand the need for another "sports" game franchise to be thrown out every year like Madden, NHL or UFC. Day 1 and forever pass. I doubt I'll rent this for the trophies. |

@9, please play a different game for that sort of thing. This is the LAST thing MMA needs. A violent, no holds barred, no rules combat where you can likely break limbs and kill your opponent to "win". MMA is a legitimate sport, and it's still trying to win over big markets like Toronto and New York. This sort of game is ammo to the legislators. I try not to wish any type of censoring, but this is a piece of crap waiting to bring everything down. Call it anything but MMA and it's fine. Call it cage combat and have a disclaimer at least. |

I know other sports have "parodies" or knockoffs with hard hitting tackles in Blitz, or similar knockoffs, but MMA still needs to grow. I can't believe they would market this crap, especially people WANTING to kill someone in the cage. Sneak weapons? Why not just preplan the endings and call it "Sports Entertainment"? This is just garbage. |

| Pretty strong opinions there Thunder. Watch the trailer it says, "illegal, brutal, unauthorized," this isnt going to be some kind of game to promote the sport to the masses. This is going to be an underground fight club type game. So bring the weapons, and DEATH! |

@15, you don't get it. It doesn't matter if it's "unauthorized", it's got the words MMA in it, it's clearly promoting violence in the cage with a twisted aspect. If it's just promoting another pit fighter, no problem. Keep the words "MMA" out of it. This isn't MMA, this is crap, and it's exactly the type of thing that will hold the sport back. |

Well, I certainly agree with you there, you make a good point. MMA doesnt need the negative press or need to look more dangerous. Hopefully they will just drop the MMA from the title and call it something else if it ends up being like I thought it would, with weapons, fight to the death, etc... |

Don't get me wrong Blessorship, I'm not trying to talk down to you or saying you are dumb/stupid/ignorant in anyway. I just don't see the point in calling this an MMA game when it's obvious they are only doing so to grab onto the part of the audience who would actually prefer this sort of thing over a legitimate sport which is what I've been waiting for 10 years now to get into Toronto. Call it Pit Fighter (ugh...remember that?) 2 or something. You can keep all the aspects of an MMA fight and include weapons, death, broken limbs etc, just don't call it MMA anything. The trailer alone, the first picture all speak volumes on what kind of audience they are trying to nab with this. It's inevitable, I just wish MMA was more accepted at this point. It's hard enough to get legislation a |

(cont'd) and the last thing those in charge need is more ammo. Supremacy MMA could be the worst thing for MMA in many years. I could be completely wrong on this, but I'm already worried over that one screenshot. A dark, gritty location with strippers, just wonderful. |
