God Of War III Special Edition Leaving the UK Behind

Earlier today, SCEE confirmed that a God of War III Special Edition would be making its way to Europe. We thought therefore that maybe the UK, by extension would be getting the same treatment too.

Wrong. Seems that if UK consumers want to purchase a God of War III Collector's Edition, the richly priced Ultimate Trilogy will be the only option. But at the premium price of £110, wouldn't it have been nice to offer a slightly more affordable alternative?

SCEE also today confirmed that God of War Collection will ship seperately from the Ultimate Trilogy box with a GOWIII hardware bundle also forthcoming.

Sony are aiming for an unconfirmed March 16th and March 19th release For God of War III in the US and UK respectively with Japan to follow on March 25th, although no definitive date has yet been set.

Ultimate edition is all three games if I am not mistaking. So its a waste of money if you already have the first games.

The first games didn't arrive here (Norway)for the ps3 so if it the ultimate edition comes here i'll buy that instead >=D

A 250GB PS3 Slim will be bundled with GoW III, yes.

Wow 110 quid. although after spending 35 quid on the collection, then spending probably 40 quid on gow3, I would of spent 75 quid anyway. still £35 less though.

£110 is a little steep for esentially two PS3 games and a PS3 game....makes me glad I got the imported GoW collection, instead of waiting.

Isn't that like 165 USD? Wow. It'd be $100 to just buy the Collection and GOW3, which I will probably do.

The only reason to get the collectors edition is because of the music. I love the soundtrack to GOW.

Just buy the God Of War collection from USA on ebay. I got it for $50. And just buy GOW3 seperately when its released.
