| I was going ot buy this game very soon anyway, so now I will just hang back until the patch is released. Not that trohpies are the be-all and end-all, but if it is coming that soon, there's no point starting now. |

| bit stupid how they confirmed it wasnt getting trophies but now is, now a game Im already into has to be stopped till later, and could have bought it later...wonder if their sales felt the effect of announcing no trophies? I know I bought Quantum of Solace first since it had trophies then ppl said I gotta get it so I ended up getting it, wonder how many other ppl bought QoS over fallout for trophies? |

| I can now ALSO officially confirm that I WILL BE BUYING this game after all...once the patch is out that is...awesome! It hurt to not buy this one because I really want to play it, but without trophy support there are just WAY too many other options right now! I have Resistance 2, Bioshock, Motorstorm 2, LBP, Bad Company, and GTAIV all on the shelf right waiting their turns in my console for their trophy runs! Right now it's Resistance 2, and that one is AWESOME! I can add Fallout 3 to the que once it gets patched... |

| Don't know why people stop playing a great game just because a trophy patch is in the works. If the trophies are the same as the achievements for xbox 360, then gamers have to play the game 3 times to get them all. Might as well make use of the practice time. |

Listening to most of you post on here causes me to assume none of you ever played video games before trophies.....Its getting a little ridiculous, the number of times people are saying that "theres no point in playing a game" or "its not worth the time"
As a matter of fact, 9 out of 22 posts on this thread point out what a waste of time this game would be without trophies....are you telling me none of you enjoyed oblivion? or mgs4? or bloody final fantasy?
If it means less glitches at release, I'd rather the devs spend more time debugging and just get the trophies out when they can.....it shouldn't be a selling point......just a bonus
I dont own a 360, but Im pretty sure that almost all of its games support achievents....if that ever happens to the PS3, I have a feeling alot of your heads |

| See, games like Fallout 3 make it worth playing even before the patch because games like that never get only one play-through. You play with a good character, then you play with an evil character, then you play through to see how fast you can beat just the story. I'll play this as soon as I get it, trophies are just the whipped cream. |

Games like Fallout 3 are great regardless of the trophies.
If a game does not have trophies then it is not a problem and does not influence how long much I play it. However once I know that trophies are available for a game, I get all OCD about it (and I suspect I am not unique). I don't want to continue playing a game that I know I will need to play again to get the trophies as with a hectic life I barely have time to play games through once.
Changing the subject totally, does anyone know when the Fallout 3 patch is out?? |

| from what I remember before its release they announced there WILL be trophies just NOT AT LAUNCH and i'm planning on getting by x-mas and if trophies aren't available by then well I ain't playin it till the patch comes cuz it'd be annoying to start all over like with GTA IV and I have 42 out of 51 trophies on that btw =] |

| There's ways round playing the game 3 time sofr every trophy, did it with Oblivion, just keep saves so you can go back to the exact bit that gives you the option of a different trophy/story line. |

we can now assume (again) that he was referring to accessing all variable plotlines w/ 1 character, 1 playthru. I guess if thats your kind of fun, then it would be fun to do

I really hate this news because if they weren't going to come I would just play the game sitting on my shelf. However, now Fallout 3 has 75% more kung-fu shelf action because I'm not pulling a GTA IV and putting 30+ more hours into replaying for trophies I would have already had.
Does anyone even know why there weren't trophies to begin with? The grandfathered games at least have an excuse. |

| #35, what are you talking about? oblivion on the 360 does have achievements (not trophies), there were 1000 for the main game and 250 for the add-on pack. I should know, I got all 1250 of them. Please do your research before having a go at other people. |

Pigly, I posted 34 and 35, so pls pick and choose in my favor in the future
also pls dont use the word research for web surfing, (research=productive/video games = recreation)
but with regards to my 'research' i went as far as looking in the O section of the 360 trophy site (im aware that they have a different name for the xbox, but it takes twice as long to type compared to trophy, so what can ya do?) After that i gave up (stopped caring) and went and played Fo3 some more
I assume it is in the E section...for elder..but again, i dont care enough to 'research' it....
In future, please do some research before having a go at people
and you dont need to correct 360-related mistakes on a Ps3 website...'specially when in my previous post i referred to them by their proper name....
