| It's all about the number of points they can assign to each trophy in a DLC update. Apparently, Rockstar has combined them into one update. So, there are fewer points spread across the 15 trophies. If that's the case, it had to be all bronze. :S |

| I read somewhere just after this being announced for PS3, the list of trophies. It had two golds (Full Chat, Gold Star), four silver (Easy Rider, Get Good Wood, Maestro, Past the Velvet Rope) and the rest bronze. Maybe they changed it? |

Wah! I want Platinum!
For those that are complaining about this DLC not having platinum, suck it up. Not every DLC has to have it. This is just for people that would like to continue playing GTA IV's single player story (side story at that).
Aside from the all Bronze trophies, I see that TLaD has less trophies while TBoGT has more. Kinda sucks making the gameplay short. But hey, I never played either game on the 360. |

I heard that they are average at best with the balad of gay tony being slightly better. But will probably get them when I have the cash, or after getting a few other games first.
Though not a shock that they brought the DLC to the PS3, almost everything that does well on the xbox tends to come to the PS3 sooner or latter, or was this just one of those cases that rockstar got a ton of cash to hold back on putting it on the PS3. |

| I already got the DLC on my 360. So I'll probably skip on the PS3 (even though I got GTAIV for my PS3, as well) DLC. While they where alright, they didn't feel quite good enough for me to want to play through them again. |

Lets hope Rockstar knows how to do a DLC port better than Bethesda does.
I played through these on the 360 and they were great. Do not pass up just because of the trophies. However if these play anything like the Fallout 3 DLC on the PS3, then I would definitely pass. |

@35: What was wrong with the Fallout 3 DLC on the PS3 compared to the 360? From what I hear, some of the 360 DLC had problems at launch which had to get patched later. Of course, getting it later, the PS3 got the fixed content from the start. |

PS3 = 225 trophy "points"
360 = 500 achievement points
So yes, they COULD have made a few golds and silvers to get that value up to 500 like the 360 has.
Why? Probably rushed effort.
The main thing is that unless you get every last bronze, you will not have that 100%. So for completion reasons it's not a huge deal. If you really want silver and gold trophies there's other games to play. But yes it is a little crappy to be rewarded with a bronze for some of the harder Gay Tony trophies. |

THEY DO NOT ALWAYS GIVE THE FULL AMOUNT ALLOWED, WHEN YOU CALCULATE SOME GAMES' TROPHIES THEY COULD HAVE EASILY given more gold and/ or silver to make up the full 1050 points (90= gold, 30 = silver and 15 = bronze) at least with xbox achievements you get full 1000g for retail games. trophies are just a rip off from xbox achievements |

@47 Agreed, It is a total rip off, I mean 15 extra tropies which are ALL BRONZE which will cost me £35 atm to get the game, what a waste of cash Sony used to buy the game from Microsoft, chances of me getting this are now 0%, I'll probably get this for Christmas this year.

@47 and 48, this game is being ported over because of potential for sales, not because of trophy support. It's incredibly sad, borderline pathetic that anyone would skip a game because it doesn't have the trophies you want.
You pay for the game, not for the imaginary digital trophies that come along with it. Remember why you play games and consider turning in your card if you can't. |

#49 yes its been ported over for sales reasons but they could've gave more silver or gold and alot of people buy games based on trophies. Read the stats, games with trophy support enjoy an increase in sales when they are patched for trophies. people like to achieve silly digital trophies to make the money worth from a game.
#51 i aint no trophy whore, i don't buy or rent games based on trophies, i admit i go for every trophy on games i play but certainly don't care about them, i play alot me metal gear solid 4, tony hawk proving ground and f1 all which has no trophies. |

| the point is here that they obviously put thought into it when doing the achievement list, gave more gamerscore for certain achievements, but when it comes to ps3 trophies they give them all bronze the lowest score possible, they didn't give 15 points to every achievement or in that matter even 20 points to every achievement. the fact of the matter is microsoft paid millions for the exclusive rights to the DLC, so they kept them sweet giving maximum achievements allowed to make as much return as possible from gamers that enjoy the GTA series and gamers that like to get more achievements as possible, a year on, after the exlcusivity has expired and now can release on ps3 they do as litle as possible to the trophy list because rockstar don't need to spend their time on a game they know is g |

Look at fallour 3, they give out worthy trophies, a few gold and lots of silver, bethesda obvioulsy respect their gamers.
oh and when GTA 4 had the patch for trophy support it started to sell more copies, as did star wars the force unleashed and tomb raider underworld, and as did every other game that was patched for trophies. so i think you all know that trophies do sell games :D |

Again, they're being released at the same time, so they may have been classified as "one DLC set" when it's actually two. This would mean that the points are split across both sets. Each one was released separately on 360 and could therefore maximize the amount of points given to DLC. That's just speculation on my part, but it's my best guess as to why the trophies are the way they are.
And to anyone saying that they hope this is fake...compare trophies with someone on your PS3 and look at the GTA list. |

| Also, if you think it's expensive for DLC (which is crazy), then you probably misunderstand just how much you get in these packs. It's honestly the best deal you'll get these days as far as extra content that's worth it goes. |

if there isn't any trophies, who cares? only ten year olds coming into gaming care about "achievements and trophies"
annoys me knowing people only care about them.. if there are trophies then game to gain otherwise who cares son!!!
