Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 12:54:55 PM Now I'm on even ground with Burnout Owners (I haven't got the game yet). It's a shame though... |

Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 12:57:08 PM So I guess I'll have to play 50 hours again. DAMN! Why could the Warhawk team make retroactive trophies then? |

Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 12:58:21 PM It does suck that they aren't retroactive, but at least we're getting trophies in the first place. Obviously a lot of people are pissed, but I say if it's such a big deal then don't bother with them. I'm kind of upset as well, but I'm only at 50% completion so it's not THAT big of a deal to restart. |

Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 01:01:38 PM They could have given us the heads up a month ago when they knew it was not looking good. Pretty pathetic we learn of this the day the patch is out. I know a few people who were playing the heck out of the game this week because they wanted an instant platinum trophy when it was released. This is all of course based on what Criterion said themselves months ago... very bad communication in my opinion. |

Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 01:03:15 PM Not to mention people with maximum % since a long time. But according to some forums there is a way to cheat there. Save your Burnout-Data on an USB device, delete your savegame on the PS3, start a new game and get all the trophies and after that copy your old savegame on the PS3. The deal is, that you don't need 102% for all the trophys. Something around 60% should be enough to get all Offline-Trophys. |

Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 03:21:25 PM I love Criterion for releasing FREE DLC, but I have over 70 hours of play time and they want me to play it again? I hate you Criterion!!! It's a locked saved game, so whats the problem! Look at Warhawk! Not cool Criterion... Not cool... I could tell you right now I'm not putting Burnout in my PS3 until they release retro-active trophies (which will probably never happen), so who else is protesting with me! |

Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 03:50:01 PM So, basically, no PS3 games have retroactive trophies. |

Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 05:20:40 PM never playing the game again, I feel outright robbed, I would never have bought a car game other than the fact it would give retro-active trophies, I could have held out for burnout till today and got it at half the price I paid, my time and money has been wasted on this game |

Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 05:56:15 PM not only get over it but try and put yourself is someone else shoes. Do you really think that they like this any more then we do. If there was anyway for them to do it I am positive they would have they didn't have to add trophies at all. They didn't have to add bikes. They have supported this game after release better then almost anyone else to date. Yes I'm annoyed that I have to wast a little more time if I want the trophy but life goes on. |

Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 06:00:51 PM As for the warhawk comment I believe that's because warhawk stats are loaded to the server which is why those trophies are retroactive. But with Burnout there just locked on our system which I'm assuming is the issue. |

Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 07:36:55 PM Has anyone actually started doing trophies on this yet? I downloaded the patch and created a new save game but the trophies are not appearing in the trophy collection....Am I doing something wrong? Or do I have to play a little before they appear? |
|
Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 07:57:48 PM they didnt appear yet for me either and it is messed up for all those that played the sh*t out of this game but atleast it has tropies now ps3 been out for 2 years now and never had tropies so no big deal if you want them do it over should take you less then half the time it did before or if not just play another game. |

Friday, September 26, 2008 @ 05:18:23 AM The trophies do not look difficult to obtain at all. Aside from the licenses I got 41% done in about 2 hours. The 360 Achievements are a bit harder and take a LOT longer. :) |

Saturday, September 27, 2008 @ 01:05:27 PM To the ones refusing to play this game until trophies are made retroactive, whoa, guys, listen to yourselves. The point of trophies is to have fun and give you something to shoot for in games you enjoy, they are not made to obsess over. I realize it can be hard work to fulfill some requirements and that it's frustrating to have to do it all again, but does it really matter? Does it really it any less of a game? I think when it gets to a point where you're having more frustration than fun, you need to step back and relax. Take a break. |

Monday, September 29, 2008 @ 09:57:22 AM i had 102% cars 101% bikes with 490/490 challenges, i backed up my save started again and got all trophys including platinum in under 12 hours, the last trophy i got before platinum was the one for driving 750 miles altho that was literally half a second after getting my burnout license :) |
