Does anyone know if this is any good? I liked the first one when I was younger.

Just a warning, Vandal Hearts trophies are glitched and NO NOT SYNC!

Same thing wrong with Puzzlegeddon. If you try to do anything regarding trophies, it confuses the system into keep trying to sync trophies.

Look at the forum for this game for more information.

@1 -- I'm really enjoying it. I never played the first one, but it's very similar to Final Fantasy Tactics, with grid based battles.

@2 -- The trophies are now showing up on my total count, so perhaps this is fixed already?

Any platin8um trophy? Otherwise, this game is worthless.

Giga_Gaia...

If you were a true trophy hunter you would have predicted ahead of time whether or not this was going to have a platinum.

The game is not worthless, and it doesn't have a platinum, but I'm in no hurry to play it just yet because I still have some other games to finish up, and by then I'll have White Knight Chronicles.

I'm tight on my budget so I'll have to wait for it to hit a sale or something.

Since they listed the trophy list, you shouldn't be asking if there's a platinum. Platinums are easy to predict. If you have to ask, you shouldn't be trophy hunting.

Actually it can be kind of hard to tell it sounds like it could be a platinum game. I mean you have Trine and Battle Fantasia which were just recently released on PSN with platinum trophies.

@5: If the PSN game is at least $14.99 then it's possible it might have a platinum, but that's not a guarantee.

Anyway, I've been playing this game since yesterday. It's very different from Vandal Hearts I & II, but still a lot of fun.

Wait, how is the list uploaded when the trophies are glitched?

That's why I am not buying it, not being able to sync with server anymore is a letdown. Gonna wait till they fix it, if they ever do.

Uh, it's already been fixed, they're syncing just fine. I mean, the trophy list wouldn't be on this site if it wasn't (under normal circumstances, since you need to have the game on your profile to submit).

It's even showing on my recently earned trophies, so I can verify that as well.

I can't believe someone called this a waste of time. Look, it's a PSN game. Like most PSN games, there's no platinum trophy here. It's mostly just played for fun, and there are some trophies to boot. Isn't that enough, if the game is fun? I love the idea of some old school SRPG on PSN.

Forget trophies for min. If you are an old school fan of final fantasy tactics, this game is awesome. Big trophy guy here but if this game had 0 trophies i'd still get this.

Yeah, it's fun, it's not very long though. I'll probably finish my first run tomorrow, so probably anywhere from 10-15 hours (I don't really keep track).

I find the battles slightly tedious (but very bearable), but that's partly because Disgaea let's me skip the animations and have the character move blazing fast.

I got this on 360 yesterday and loved it. I will definitely be getting it on PSN as well for the trophies.

@5 MakaiOokami: Giga_Gaia, If you were a true trophy hunter you would have predicted ahead of time whether or not this was going to have a platinum. If you have to ask, you shouldn't be trophy hunting.

Harsh words! Who decides who is a “true trophy hunter” and who “shouldn’t be trophy hunting”? None of us have the right to shame each other like that. If you look at Gia_Gaia’s profile, he has a platinum for Trine, and joined PS3T in August of 09. He’s still fairly new, and may be confused with platinums for PSN titles, seeing as he earned one recently. Besides, up until Trine, I would have predicted no PSN titles would have trophies (besides Wipeout HD), and I do consider myself a “true trophy hunter.” Sony is changing trophy protocols on PSN for select games. However, personal criticism

As others have said, the syncing problem has been fixed.
Now how about Puzzlegeddon...

Personal criticism does nothing for the site. Take it easy.

@5 Since they listed the trophy list, you shouldn't be asking if there's a platinum.

Two of the trophies are secret. I see how Giga_Gaia could raise the question, being new.

@21
Actually I think #5 made a LOT of sense, I was a tad offended myself when Giga_Gaia stated the game is worthless w/o a platinum trophy...I also see the difference between this site and a site like Gamefaqs in terms of politeness in threads so I decided not to respond to it because I had nothing good to say about it. Giga_Gaia could learn from that post; The truth is that you both have very valid points.

I don't think i've seen a PSN title under $19.99 that had one btw, unless it was marked down.

Saying it's worthless without a Plat is just ignorant! Are you saying the only games you will play will be ones where you can Plat them? If that's the case why do you even play? I love the trophy's because they give me a different way to play the game than I normally would. I go after trophy's just like everyone else here; but only after I have enjoyed the game on a first run though

I am looking for some people to trophy hunt with and against me? I am on level 12 with 8 games at 100%. PSN is the same if you want to compare and or compete.
