Lord-of-War: No, you just have to obtain the original trophies to get platinum. The Metal Gear Solid and Pirates of the Caribbean trophies are optional!

Sweet monkey, its about damn time. When they released the MGS expansion so soon after LBP's release, it got my hopes up that more Mm levels would trickle out. But with it being a year since that happened, I got a bit worried that Mm had fired all its level designers on Christmas, what with the MGS DLC being released that week... lol
At any rate, I always check this site for updates and was blown away when I saw LBP at the top of the list. I still play it to this day, but... I sure hope Mm doesn't make this kind of content a yearly thing. |

Yeah, I just about crapped myself right now when I was comparing trophies with somebody and saw that we both had one game with a Platinum but only 86% completion. I had no idea what that could be as all my platinums should have been 100%. But WTF, it was LBP!
Pretty disappointing that they wasted a level pack on freaking Sissy Boys Wearing Too Much Makeup of the Caribbean, though. I'll still play, but shake my head at it knowing that it could have been something so much better. |

#2 - Yes, the water update will also fix the lag issue in multiplayer. I myself couldn't never play the game online properly because of the lag. And now they're fixing it. Awesome. :)
And new DLC! Shit satan! TRULY AWESOME! Though I haven't bought MGS pack yet but I'd like to... still waiting for a price drop / offer... Maybe a bundle with both DLCs? =) |

@39: LBP already has pirate content that is more awesome than anything based on those movies could be: a kickass pirate costume, complete with the hook for a hand and yellow rotten teeth. You know, that stuff that REAL pirates have, instead of a crapload of eye shadow and fight scenes that might as well have been the two characters slapping each other.
I mean, if they're going to make a pirate pack based on things that aren't really pirates at all, they might as well make a ninja pack next that is based around Naruto (who is about as ninjay as the PotC cast is piratey: not at all).
But again. I'm sure the levels themselves will be solid and quite fun. My disappointment is only in the subject matter they are choosing to base the content around. |

| #47: They're adding in functionality to allow developers to segment the DLC trophies from the trophies required for the Platinum. From their press releases it didn't sound like this was going to be automatic but at least it should help with future games. I'd be surprised if it isn't made mandatory for new titles at some point. |
