Comment #2 by aliensNmycloset Thursday, September 04, 2008 @ 05:36:09 PM in a sense i'm almost glad. i really want to play this game and all but it's going to be really hard to keep up w/ the trophies this holiday season. i mean me personally i'll be playing warhawk for another 2-3 months to get all of those and not to mention all of the games that are coming out in sept and oct. i just hope theres a patch maybe in the spring when game releases start to slow down so i can sit down and enjoy the game

BTW, what you get from collecting trophies? Can you exchange them for money/PSN games or whatever? It's Sony's fault for not pre-warning them of when they were dropping and/or not getting the system out for launch. Developers have been working on some of these games for 3 years (Fallout being one) and shouldn't have to recode an entire game just to put Trophies in. If it was too late in the cycle, it's not cost-effective to go back and weave in a Trophy code. That's life unfortunately.

I don't dislike trophies at all, and I've been on this site since the beginning - thanks. I even have over 120 of them, which matters absolutely nothing. However, just because you are on a trophy site does not justify ignorant behavior. Don't forget that you're still a gamer. They work 80+ hours a week to make the deadline, and you want them to take another month or two to add trophies. Yes, it's not a weekend project. It's an undertaking, and that's not as easy as it sounds.

I think it's quite reasonable that all these games don't have trophies, simply because it's so incredibly new and wasn't around when development started.
