The Trophy News Direct from Leipzig

Good evening everyone, I hope everyone's week has been full of joy ... well, let us put a little more joy in your life.

As some of you know, a few of us are attending the Leipzig Games Convention this week representing x360a and of course, we never forget our sister site. In some developer walkthroughs with various publishers, we managed to ask the age old question to keep all you Trophy hunters happy:

Will your title support Trophies?

And here is the general consensus from day 1. I'll warn you know though, the day started badly for Sony's Trophy system, but certainly got better throughout the day.

Prince of Persia - No Trophy support

HAWX - Trophy support confirmed

Shaun White's Snowboard - Trophy support confirmed

Borderlands - Trophy support confirmed

Spider Man: Web of Shadows - Probably not because it was too late in the development stage to add them in.

Far Cry 2 - Trophy support confirmed

EndWar - Trophy support confirmed

Quantum of Solace - Trophy support confirmed

Call of Duty: World at War - Trophy support confirmed

Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon - Trophy support confirmed

So there you have it, as the holiday period approaches, more and more titles get Trophy support. Unfortunately the impressive looking Prince of Persia will not, but surely Far Cry 2 and Call of Duty: World at War will make everyone sleep a little sounder tonight.

	@ #3 - SOCOM was already confirmed that it will have them. We just did the rounds with the 3rd party pubs :)

	do what I do...if the developer states that the game will NOT support trophies (even with a DL patch), then simply DON'T BUY THE GAME. I'd be willing to bet that if enough gamers simply bought only games that were at least announced to have a patch to give trophy support, you'd see the vast majority of developers supporting trophies... I'm just too hooked on trophy hunting to invest my money/time into games that refuse to give me the satisfaction of having a trophy to show off for my accomplishment... No trophies...no purchase...

	#15 I totally agree, also for Resistance 2. I refuse to buy that one, when it would take them a month for them to add trophies to Resistance 1 (ex Drake's). People are suckers, the developers already got the cash why should they offer more. That's why I respect makers of Warhawk and Drak's and will continue to buy from them. Don't be a sucker, make a difference with your cash. If it's a title you must play, buy it used and or wait a few months til the price drops.

	It's good to see Ubisoft and Activision stepping up with their support, though I'm hoping GH:WT matches RB2 with trophy support, as well.

	I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm not buying Resistance 2...that HAS trophies as far as I know...would I love it if they put trophies into Resistance 1 and Ratchet and Clank? YES! Do I understand why they don't? Sort of...at least while they are in crunch time to put out Resistance 2...but then they should go back and give patches for the other two games... HORRAY for Naughty Dog, Incognito, and Criterion for their awesome support of their current games with trophies! I'm still playing the wheels off of Uncharted, and if RE:1 got a patch for trophies I buy it all over again... you listening Insomniac?

	It's great that some of these games have trophies. It's ashame I have none of them and don't really want to buy them.

	#23 Don't get me wrong, I'll play RE:2. Just won't buy it brand new immediately and support the title. I figure if Insomniac doesn't support me, why should I support them. Besides Uncharted said it took 1 month (or maybe it was 2) to put in the trophy support because they already had an ingame rewards system. Well RE:1 does as well. It comes down to $$$ why do something that benefits old customers when you already have their money. Well I bought RE:1 brand new when it was released, and do to them letting me down will not buy the second one. Simple as that :)

	Resistance 2 will have trophies, and the first Resistance is an awesome game. Don't be an idiot and refuse to buy games if developers don't want to revive their 2 year old games to patch them. You're a gamer, so denying yourself of good quality software simply due to lack of trophies is ridiculous.

	Awesome, too bad they don't just patch every game with it. I hate that GH4 isn't supporting Trophies. Otherwise, I'd get it and since my Rock Band already has like 30 downloaded songs on Xbox Live, I'm going to stick with the Xbox version of that.
