Before we move on to our Member of the Month for the month of June, let us first bring attention to May's Member of the Month who didn't get the front page recognition they deserved because of that damn trade show called E3. So firstly ... check out mycuccismells' Member of the Month interview for May here. Congrats. Moving swiftly on. This month's Member of the Month was a closely fought duel between some really impressive community members. As usual, there can only be one winner, and while the sun is shining over in the UK today, the sun is also shining on the one member the staff like to call "The Super Submitter," or "The Submission Machine." Of course, we're talking about the quick drawing dougatt. Congratulations. Enjoy the interview folks. _________________ Sure, my name is Doug and I live in Orlando, FL. I'm a single parent. Big football and basketball fan. I work for the maintenance division of a large chain of drug stores. And I usually game with most of my free time. _________________ What sort of setup do you have going back home for your gaming? Nothing fancy. 36" Sony Bravia LCD HD. Sony Dream System for sound. _________________ How long have you been gaming and what made you decide PlayStation as your gaming companion? I've been gaming since I was 14 probably. I've always preferred Sony systems over Nintendo and Microsoft. Sony has a more distinctive, artistic side to their games than the others in my opinion. _________________ What was the last game you bought, and what’s the next one you’re looking forward to? Last game I bought was Overlord 2 and the next game I'll be getting will probably be Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood.
A time set in stone for the store to update. The way they do it now can be frustrating. _________________ How much of a certified trophy whore are you? Does the trophy list play any part in the decision to play or buy a game, or do you base that decision entirely on the game? You don't get to level 15 unless you've got some serious trophy whoring issues, ha ha. I don't buy games based on trophies. I do rent from Gamefly to play trophy games I don't buy though. _________________ What would you say was your proudest trophy and why? Hmmm. Probably the platinum for Aquanaut's Holiday. That took some real work. Looking through Japanese translations of guides, ha ha. All the work made it sweeter though.
God of War, Legend of Zelda, and Rock Band. _________________ What made you decide to submit so many trophy lists and tiles, and do you buy every game for this purpose? After I read the announcement that the site was going to need help with the lists I just thought I could pitch in and help. I have yet to buy a game just to submit the trophy list though, ha ha. _________________ What brought you to PS3T and what keeps you coming back? Google is what brought me here. The great tips and suggestions that keep my trophy whoring going keep me coming back. _________________ Any final words for the community? Live long and prosper. A big thanks to Doug for all his submissions and commitment to the site. Congratulations and we look forward to another great month here at PS3T.
