Since we hit the milestone of 1,000,000 forum posts yesterday, we need to do something to celebrate, yes? Since we're always looking for excuses to give things away, here you go. Post your PSN ID in reply to the thread in this link. If your name is drawn, you can choose one of two items, 1. a recently released PS3 game (e.g. Mafia II, Kane & Lynch 2, NHL 11, Spiderman, RUSE, Singularity, Madden 11, etc.) or 2. a PlayStation Move bundle (camera, Move controller, and Sports Champions). The new release has to be in stores so that we can get it to you quicker. We are also working on getting additional prizes, so stay tuned.

August has been very hectic month for the staff. TSL aside, our lives and I'm sure your own, have been filled with many ups and downs. Most of you are getting ready to return to school and we wish you all a fantastic school year and all the best with your studies. Things still needed to get done around here so busy or not, we found the time to select your Member Of The Month.

By now you are probably thinking, "Wait a second? Fifty? What are you doing writing the intro? Where's olsen at?" One of the many perks to being an Admin, besides beating women away with a stick and counting fat stacks of cash all the time, is tasking lowly S. Mods to do your dirty work. This month you are stuck with me. I receive quite a few private messages every month asking me, "Fifty, I want to be cool like you. How do I win Member Of The Month? " My reply is always the same. You don't win it, you earn it and that is exactly what the Member Of The Month for August has done.

This member has been here for quite awhile. He joined back in 2009 and immediately made a lasting impression on me. If you don't know him then you haven't been visiting PS3T often enough (shame on you). Unbeknownst to him, he's been nominated for M.O.M. twice in the past only to have it stolen away from him in the final minutes. The first time by a member that surpassed his good deeds, and the second time in a very close 50/50 split vote. Needless to say, this award has been a long time coming, and in my opinion is way overdue.

Words that describe him? Active, kind, helpful and a solid contributor. He is an invaluable member and we are very happy to have him as part of our PS3T family. Without further ado, this month's Member Of The Month is Pirate!
