Show / Hide Guide Road Map

- Estimated Platinum Difficulty: 6/10 (My estimate)
- Approximate Time To Platinum: 40-50 Hours
- Offline: 8 6 5
- Online: 4 2 1 1
- Missable Trophies: None
- Minimum Number of Playthroughs Required: 3 (1 for each of the two Campaigns, and 1 for the Challenges)
- Difficulty Affects Trophies: No
- Glitched Trophies: Embrace The Darkness
- File Size: 518 MB

The approximate time to Platinum was calculated using the following timeframes:

- 8-10 Hours for the Mayhem Campaign
- 10-12 Hours for the Worms 3D Campaign
- 5-8 Hours for the Challenges
- 15-20 Hours for the online trophies
- 2-4 Hours for any remaining miscellaneous trophies

Please note that these times are based on not boosting. If you boost any of the trophies, then these figures may vary.

The road to the Platinum trophy can be broken down into six steps:

STEP ONE – ACQUIRE THE MISCELLANEOUS TROPHIES LEADING UP TO THE STORY, AND THEN COMPLETE THE MAYHEM CAMPAIGN - In this step, you will be focusing on finishing all 25 missions in the Mayhem Campaign and getting a feel for the game. When you first start up the game, you should create a team and then try the tutorial. Afterwards, you may also view the credits if you wish to unlock an additional trophy. It is recommended that you undertake and finish these actions straight away to unlock three of the miscellaneous trophies in a very short space of time. Once these are complete, you can jump into the Mayhem Campaign and unlock the corresponding trophies as you go through. After this step, you should have the following trophies unlocked.

In the recommended order of:

Pimp My Worm
Teacher’s Pet
Credit To The Nation
Slide Into First
Halfway House
Glide Like A Worm
Eggceptional
Billy No Mates

Please note that the order noted above is only a suggested list for maximum efficiency. It is very possible that you will unlock additional trophies during this step, especially the kill/damage based and extra miscellaneous trophies.

STEP TWO – COMPLETE THE WORMS 3D CAMPAIGN TO UNLOCK THE GALLERY IMAGES – In order to unlock all of the gallery images, you will need to play through and complete the entire Worms 3D Campaign. The missions here are exactly the same as the ones that were in the PS2 version, although they are set out in a different order this time. This step focuses entirely on obtaining the Fan of the Arts trophy.

STEP THREE – COMPLETE THE CHALLENGES - After the two campaigns, it is recommended that you tackle the additional challenges that the game has to offer. There are a range of tasks here which will further put your skills to the test. Not only will you obtain the trophy for completing all challenges after this step, but you will also unlock the trophy for completing all story missions, challenges and tutorials providing that you followed this Road Map exactly.

The trophies that you will have obtained at the end of this step are:

Loves A Challenge
Doing It Solo

STEP FOUR – OBTAIN THE ONLINE TROPHIES - You’ll be spending a lot of your time here, as the online trophies are rather time-consuming. There’s no real set order for obtaining these trophies as none of them are missable, so go at your own pace and focus on whichever one you wish to complete first. Please note that some of the trophies may require a total of four players in order to make them easier to obtain, so if you’re in need of some additional people, you may wish to consult the Boosting Thread should some of these trophies prove to be a little tricky for you.

After this step, you should have all of the online trophies unlocked as so:

Loves Company
I Am The Worminator
Mr Popular
Cartographer
Ranked Up
Finger Of Death
Total Ranker

STEP FIVE – ACQUIRE THE KILL/DAMAGE-BASED TROPHIES IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY - This step is primarily focused on the five kill/damage based trophies, however it is possible that you may not even need to undertake this step. It is very likely that you would have already obtained some, if not all of these trophies whilst working on the previous steps, especially considering that they are particularly time consuming and will result in you killing a lot of worms. If you haven’t acquired them yet, then now is the time to do so. You’ll need to kill a total of 200, 400 and 600 worms respectively by any means necessary, ensure that 50 die by drowning, and finally inflict a total of 2,000 damage with a custom weapon made from the factory.

The trophies that will be unlocked upon completion of this step will be:

Grave Digger
Wormicide
Genghis Worm!
Davey Jones
If You Build It, They Will Die

STEP SIX – UNLOCK ANY REMANING MISCELLANEOUS TROPHIES - Finally, you should concentrate on obtaining any remaining trophies that you may have missed during the previous five steps.

The only three trophies that have not been covered in the preceding five steps are as follows:

Boom Shake The Worm
Embrace The Darkness
Shop-A-Holic

If there are any additional miscellaneous trophies that you are missing, then make sure that you collect those at this point to unlock your shiny new Platinum trophy.

Worms: Ultimate Mayhem Single Player Pack

- Estimated Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 (My estimate)
- Approximate Time To Complete: 2-4 Hours
- Offline: 3 2 1
- Online: None
- Missable Trophies: None
- Minimum Number of Playthroughs Required: 1
- Difficulty Affects Trophies: No
- Glitched Trophies: None

This DLC can be completed within 2-4 hours and all of the trophies can be obtained in a single playthrough. All of the lower grade trophies are actually prerequisites for the Gold, so you will therefore obtain all of these on your way towards that. Therefore, the main bulk of information regarding how to obtain the DLC trophies will be listed under the Clock Watching trophy. Due to these factors, there are only two steps involved in the Road Map, although this guide will focus on using only one.

STEP ONE – COMPLETE ALL EIGHT OF THE NEW CHALLENGES - In this step, you simply need to complete each of the eight new challenges. They are located in the Challenge menu straight after the final challenge that you have unlocked in the main game (Deathmatch 10 if you've completed them all.) Overall, they shouldn't take you more than a few tries to finish, although a couple of them are rather difficult, so don't expect to breeze through them with ease. If you wish to avoid having to replay the challenges later on, then it is advised that you try to beat the Team 17 times before moving on to the next one. If you do this, then you will obtain all six of the DLC trophies upon completion of all challenges. If you aim just to finish the challenges without worrying about the times, then you will unlock the following trophies:

Challenge Accepted
No Challenge At All
Time For A Challenge

STEP TWO – REVISIT ANY CHALLENGES THAT YOU DIDN'T BEAT THE TIMES ON AND FULFILL THESE REQUIREMENTS NOW (OPTIONAL) – As previously discussed, if you aimed to beat all of the times in each of the challenges as you played them, then you won't need to undertake this step. However, if you weren't able to do this and just wanted to move on to the next challenge quickly, then now is the time to revisit any that you need to beat the times on and complete them under these limits. After this, you would have acquired the remaining three trophies and complete the DLC:

Nick Of Time
Time Attacked
Clock Watching

Worms: Ultimate Mayhem MP Pack

- Estimated Platinum Difficulty: 4/10 (My estimate)
- Approximate Time To Complete: 5 -10 Hours
- Offline: None
- Online: 3 2 1
- Missable Trophies: None
- Minimum Number of Playthroughs Required: N/A
- Difficulty Affects Trophies: No
- Glitched Trophies: None

The hardest thing about this new DLC Pack is actually getting into an online match with another player who has the DLC and then hoping that one of the new maps comes up. This is because the game does not have a “DLC Only” search option, meaning that the regular maps will appear more often than not in your searches. Due to the nature of this DLC trophy list, there isn’t really a set way to go about obtaining these trophies. You can unlock them in any order that you wish, therefore the Road Map will only centre around one step.

STEP ONE – PLAY THROUGH EACH OF THE NEW MAPS AND UNLOCK ALL SIX OF THE NEW TROPHIES - The vast majority of the DLC trophies require winning matches on the new maps (some under certain criteria,) and all five of them will need to be played. Despite being only a bronze, the I Love New trophy for playing each map more than five times is technically the most time-consuming, as it will require completion of at least 30 games. If possible, you should try to obtain the other five trophies whilst working towards this one whilst taking note of the special victory criteria required for two of them. However, it should be noted that this trophy as well as the Davey Jones Returns trophy can actually be obtained offline, so if these are your final two trophies, then you may wish to switch to this and save yourself the hassle of hoping that the map you need comes up online.

After this step, you would have obtained all six of the new trophies, these being:

Alexander The Worm
Join Me Luke
I Love New
Dedicated Ranker
Davey Jones Returns
Feel The Power Of The Darkside

[PS3T Would Like to Thank Dark_Phantom_89 for this Road Map]

Platinum
Earn every trophy in game.

Congratulations! As with all Platinum trophies, this will be awarded when you collect all of the 26 trophies available in the core game. The DLC trophies do not count towards this total.

Slide Into First
Complete any mission.

You will unlock this as soon as you finish the first mission in the story, “Diner Might”. Don’t worry about the enemy worms, and only focus on the TNT Barrels that they are standing next to. Destroy all four of them with any damaging weapon that you see fit to complete the mission.

Teacher's Pet
Complete the tutorials.

To access the Tutorial menu, select “Local Play” from the Main Menu, and then “Tutorial”. There are a total of three tutorials to complete, which are as follows:

Worminkle University: This will teach you the basics regarding movement, jumping and collecting weapons. You’ll also get to try out some of the weaponry that you collect too.

Unsporting Behaviour: This is a basic Deathmatch which introduces you to a few new weapons. Make sure that you collect the crates that are scattered around the football field, and use the Grappling Hook to grab those ones that are high up.

Mike’s Secret Laboratory: This is another Deathmatch, only this time you’ll already be kitted out with standard weapons and won’t have to collect any crates. Simply kill the four enemy worms using whatever weaponry you feel suitable. This won’t give you any problems as they are very inaccurate.
The trophy will unlock upon completion of the third and final Tutorial level.

Loves Company
Complete 10 online matches.

This trophy is pretty self-explanatory. Simply complete 10 online matches to unlock it. You don’t need to win the matches, only finish them. Make sure that you allow the game to return to the lobby when the game is over to ensure that it is counted.

I Am The Worminator
Kill more than 3 worms in one turn in a Ranked match. (1)

This can be a little tricky to achieve, and a certain degree of luck is required. It will be much easier to obtain this trophy in a 3 or 4 player match as there will be a greater number of enemy worms on the field. The best way to go about this would be to drop a Dynamite or other high explosive weapon amongst a group of worms. However, considering that the chances of this opportunity becoming available are rather slim, you may wish to consider poisoning the enemy worms and then letting their health drain down first. Please note that you need to kill MORE than three worms in order to obtain this trophy, so a minimum of four is required.

Make use of the Grappling Hook to pull explosive barrels towards enemy worms, and then blow them up to poison them with radioactive material. You can also use a Gas Canister/Poison Arrow, or a custom made weapon from the factory assuming that it has poison capabilities.

The Shotgun is a good way to go, as that will give you two shots. It is very possible to kill three or more enemies in just two shots, especially if they are situated around mines or explosive barrels. A well placed Airstrike can also work wonders.

If all else fails and you’re having a really hard time with this trophy, then you can consult the Boosting Thread.

If You Build It They Will Die
Inflict 2000 damage in total using weapon factory built weapons.

You can access the weapon factory by selecting “Local Play” from the Main Menu and then “Create/Edit Weapon". It is also one of the options that you can set when creating a team. The weapon factory is essentially a hub to build your very own weapons that can be used in the field of battle. You can set the aesthetics of the weapon, how it is launched, the amount of damage that it will inflict, as well as other miscellaneous properties. Don’t be tempted to set everything to the max level though, because the temperature gauge on the left hand side indicates the stability of the weapon. If it moves over to the red and starts smoking, then it means that your weapon is currently too overpowered and must be toned down.

You can obtain this trophy either online or offline, so feel free to play whichever one you feel most comfortable with. If you aim to always use your custom weapon when it becomes available, then it is very likely that you will unlock this trophy whilst working towards others. The average weapon deals around 40-50 damage, which is already a decent portion towards the 2,000 requirement.

Boom Shake The Worm
Win a round using only Grenades and Bazooka.

You can do this offline, so it is recommended that you aim for it there as it will be considerably easier. Set up a Versus match between yourself and another team (it doesn’t matter whether the other team is Human or AI controlled) and make sure that you ONLY use the Bazooka and Grenade during the entire duration of the match. Remember that the Bazooka is wind affected, so you will need to cater for this when you fire your shots. Also, remember that the Cluster Bomb, although thrown like a Grenade, will NOT count.

Pimp My Worm
Completely customise a new team of Worms (including Head, Eye, Hand & Face accessories).

From the Main Menu, select the “My Worms” option, followed by “Customise”. Next, go to “Create Team” where you’ll be taken to the menu for assembling a new team of worms. There are three pages worth of options to fill out here, and you have to set something for each one in order to obtain the trophy.

Page 1: Names for your worms – Simply set a name for each of your six team members here.

Page 2: Speech and Worm settings – Here, select a voice for your worms and then make sure that they have something enabled on their Head, Eyes, Face and Hands. By default, these are blank, so you will need to change them.

Page 3: Team Weapon, Flag and Grave – Set a special weapon for your team either from the default options available, or make your own in the Weapons Factory. Next, select a Flag for your team from the list, and finally choose the Gravestone to represent your worms when they reach an untimely end.

Finally, you’ll be asked to name your team. Once you’ve done this and confirmed, you will be rewarded with the trophy.

Mr Popular
Complete 5 four player games in Local or online play. (5)

Again, this trophy is very straightforward. Make sure that the lobby has four players in it before starting the match. You only need to finish the match and don’t need to worry too much about actually winning it. This can also be obtained offline in a Versus match, however I have included it in the online section as it's very likely that you'll get it here whilst working towards the other trophies.

Credit To The Nation
Enjoy the game's credits from start to end.

To access the credits, select “Local Play” from the Main Menu and then “Credits.” Simply let the Credits roll and the trophy will unlock at the end. Make sure that you don’t skip them.

Eggceptional
Collect all the Easter eggs hidden throughout the story mode.

There are a total of five Easter Eggs in the story mode, the details of which are listed below. The Easter Eggs are only located in the Mayhem Campaign. Once you have found the Easter Egg, finish the mission (pass or fail, it doesn’t matter) and you will see a notification appear on screen at the end informing you of your discovery, as well as a reward of 1,000 coins per Easter Egg found.

Mission 5 (Destruct and Serve)

On the road to the left of the building that you need to destroy, look around to spot a very well known vehicle. This vehicle is none other than the DeLorean car from the Back to the Future series. Destroy it with whatever damaging weaponry you feel necessary and you’ll see a small cutscene showing a trail of fire moving down the road. In case you’re unsure of what the car looks like, it’s the one that’s in the middle.

Mission 10 (Nice to Siege You)

Move over to the hill that the enemy called “Knight Styk” starts on, and go all the way to the back of it. You’ll come across a cave which you must enter in order to unlock the second Easter Egg. You’ll see a small cutscene showing a worm with sunglasses and bunny ears trying to hide from you.

Mission 13 (Tin Can Wally)

As soon as you start the level, turn around and shoot the toilet to your right to unlock the third Easter Egg.

Mission 18 (Carpet Capers)

There is a hidden set of diamonds located at the bottom of the tower that “Egg” is on top of. Blast a hole in the roof of it and then parachute down. Please note that there is a glitch with this Easter Egg, and you will need to collect all nine of the weapon crates first. If you don’t, then the game will loop back to the “kill all enemies” cutscene, and the Easter Egg won’t count.

Mission 22 (Escape From Tree-Rex)

Feed the Tree-Rex by firing a Bazooka into its mouth. Make sure that you get it exactly in the middle, otherwise the Easter Egg may not unlock.

Glide Like A Worm
Glide using the Parachute in one go for more than 25 seconds. (2)

Assuming that you follow the Road Map, the earliest opportunity that you can obtain this trophy would be during Mission 18 of the Mayhem Campaign (Carpet Capers). You’ll start on a very high building and will need to parachute down to collect weapon crates. Simply glide down from this starting building, and go around the base of it in a spiral fashion for longer than 25 seconds. Keep an eye on your turn time to determine how long you’ve been in the air for. Please note that you will need to LAND the parachute as well to get the trophy, so when you’ve been gliding in the air for longer than 25 seconds, simply choose a building and land on it.

There is an alternative method for this trophy as well. You can also get it in Mission 18 of the Worms 3D Campaign (Worm and the Beanstalk). The only thing that you’ll be using in this mission is the Parachute, and you will be descending from an incredibly high area to collect various targets located further down. In fact, it’s actually impossible to miss this trophy here (providing that you land correctly), as you will be gliding in the Parachute for far longer than 25 seconds during this mission before you complete it.

Cartographer
Create a random map and have someone save it to their system.

There is some confusion which has arisen as a result of this trophy, but rest assured that it is easier to obtain than you may think. Whenever you’re in a Versus game with an opponent (online or offline,) there is an option in the Pause Menu which allows you to save a randomly generated landscape to your system so that you may access it again later.

In order to obtain this trophy, you’ll need to create a new game online (it has to be a custom game, as you cannot generate random landscapes in ranked matches) and select one of the map options in the random category (don’t select the pre-built ones as these do not count.) Whilst in the game, your opponent needs to access the Pause Menu and then select “Save Landscape.” The trophy will pop for you shortly after this.

Halfway House
Reach the halfway point of the story mode.

There are a total of 25 story missions in the Mayhem Campaign, and this will unlock upon completion of Mission 13.

Grave Digger
Kill a total of 200 Worms, all modes count.

Please refer to the description for Genghis Worm!

Ranked Up
Win 10 online Ranked matches.

Please refer to the description for Total Ranker.

Loves A Challenge
Complete all the challenges.

To access the Challenge menu, select “Local Play” from the Main Menu and then “Challenges.” The Challenges all involve completing a set requirement in the fastest way that you can. I can confirm that you only need to finish the challenges and not beat Team 17's times for this particular trophy, however you WILL need to beat the times in order to unlock additional items in the Shop for the Shop-A-Holic trophy. I have created a brief summary of each and provided some general tips and advice on how to complete them below:

SNIPER RIFLE CHALLENGE
TIME TO BEAT: 2 Minutes
DIFFICULTY: Easy

Make use of the radar to identify your next target and don’t forget to zoom in/out to acquire the targets more easily.

JET PACK CHALLENGE
TIME TO BEAT: 2 Minutes
DIFFICULTY: Medium

Take it slow and steady and gently tap at the thrust to ensure that you don’t fly past any crates and miss them.

SUPER SHEEP CHALLENGE
TIME TO BEAT: 1 Minute 30 Seconds
DIFFICULTY: Easy

It may take a few attempts to get used to the way in which the Super Sheep handles, but once you’ve mastered it, this challenge is a cinch. Don’t forget to use the right analog stick to change the pitch of the sheep if he starts to roll over to the side a little too much

ICARUS POTION CHALLENGE
TIME TO BEAT: 3 Minutes
DIFFICULTY: Very Hard

This is the hardest challenge in the game, so be prepared to get very frustrated. The Icarus Potion is notoriously difficult to control and you’ll find that it seems to work at one minute and fail the next. The best technique that I found was to quickly tap the jump button three times in quick succession every second. When launching, perform a front flip and then start tapping the jump button at the very top of your jump. You will need to control where your worm flies towards by using the left analog stick. Remember to pull back on it when you need to ascend to very high places to ensure that your worm doesn’t fly into the wall and lose his wings. Good luck with this challenge, you’re going to need it.

SHOTGUN CHALLENGE
TIME TO BEAT: 1 Minute 30 Seconds
DIFFICULTY: Medium

Try to take out the targets as they are descending to make this easier on yourself. The only target that you may have trouble with is the one at the very top of the building, but take it slow and wait for your gun to steady before firing.

ACCURACY CHALLENGE
TIME TO BEAT: 2 Minutes 45 Seconds
DIFFICULTY: Easy

Remember to adjust your trajectory and aim up a little above of where you want to arrow to hit. You don’t have to score a direct hit, as the poison of the arrow does have some range to it. You’ll have to hit all 12 of the worms to finish.

NAVIGATION CHALLENGE
DIFFICULTY: Easy

Make use of your backflip, although remember to pull back on the analog stick a little to ensure that you don’t overjump the crate and fall off. If you do, then restart.

CRATE COLLECT CHALLENGE
DIFFICULTY: Medium
TIME TO BEAT: 2 Minutes 30 Seconds

Start out by collecting the two crates in front of you, and then the two to your left and right. Move over to the plant towards the right of your last crate and backflip up and onto the building with the colourful sun guards sticking out. Collect the crate here and then jump onto the palm tree. Turn left and jump onto the next building, ensuring that you collect the crate here. Make your way out to the next crate in front of you, though be careful not to fall down.

Make your way back, and then jump onto the outer wall of the landscape.. You can collect the rest of the crates by simply moving along this wall and using the backflip to access the required crates.

DEATHMATCH CHALLENGES
DIFFICULTY: Increasing Difficulty

There’s not really much to say here, other than to retreat to cover when you’ve fired your shot, and to play a strategic game. Don’t waste all of your powerful weapons at once and try to drown the enemy worms wherever possible, as this is an instant kill.

Wormicide
Kill a total of 400 Worms, all modes count.

Please refer to the description for Genghis Worm!

Davey Jones
Drown 50 Worms, all modes count.

As stated, you must kill the enemy worms by water. As with the other kill based trophies, it is very likely that you will obtain this whilst working towards completing the story or the online wins. It doesn’t matter if the enemy worm is already dead when you hit him on land. As long as he ends up in the water and doesn’t bow himself up to reveal his Gravestone, then it will count.

You can use any mode to obtain this, so if you’re still running a bit short on the total, you can finish off the remaining kills in Local Play, or replay Mission 24 of the Mayhem Campaign, where you’ll be able to drown the majority of the enemy worms. I can confirm that killing your own worms also counts towards this total.

Finger Of Death
Kill 5 Worms using Prod in Ranked matches.

The Prod is the ultimate joke weapon in the Worms franchise. Aptly named, it will simply give the enemy worm a small nudge in the intended direction and deal no damage. The best way to kill enemy worms with this would be to drown them, though be aware that the Prod is nowhere near as effective distance-wise as the Fire Punch and Baseball Bat, and the enemy worm will barely move when nudged. They must therefore be on the very edge of the landscape before you use it. You can also try Prodding enemy worms from high distances to inflict fall damage on them, or nudge them into Mines too should drowning prove to be too difficult

Rest assured, this is easier than it sounds. During the course of battle, there are plenty of Prod opportunities that will present themselves. You will likely end up getting this whilst working towards the 40 online wins, however if not, then you can consult the Boosting Thread for further assistance.

Embrace The Darkness
Win 10 games with the last hit coming from a sentry gun, all modes count.

It will be considerably easier to obtain this trophy offline in a Versus match. Set up a game using the Pro Mode against either another Human player or the AI. The reason that you’ll want to select Pro is that it unlocks the Sentry Gun in five turns. You can also create your own game mode and put it in there, although this will require a purchase of the Sentry Gun from the Item Shop for 150 coins.

The most effective method for this trophy would be to play out the match as normal until there is only one enemy worm left. It is recommended that he has less than 50 health and is backed up against a wall to increase the chances of a kill. Set up the Sentry Gun a few paces away from him and it’ll shoot on the enemy’s next turn. You’ll need to repeat this nine more times for the trophy.

I have listed this trophy as glitched as there have been reports of it not unlocking for some people despite them meeting the requirement. Fortunately, there is a workaround for this. Thanks to SUMSLY1 for posting the method.

Billy No Mates
Complete the single player story mode.

To clear up any confusion that may arise from this trophy, you are only required to complete the Mayhem campaign for this trophy. Although the Worms 3D Campaign is also included with this game, you do not need to complete any missions in that for this trophy. Make sure that you have the correct campaign selected before trying.

There are a total of 25 missions to complete in the Mayhem Campaign, which range from traditional Deathmatches to crate collection and destroying targets. Although there is a time bonus for each of these missions, you do not need to beat these in order to unlock this trophy.

I have compiled a thread which outlines some general tips for each of the missions located here. Please refer to this if you require further assistance.

Genghis Worm!
Kill a total of 600 Worms, all modes count.

Don’t worry about this trophy too much, as it’s very likely that you’ll unlock it whilst working towards the other trophies. It doesn’t matter whether the worms die on land or water. As long as they are killed, then it will be counted. You can check your progress in this on your Save File, which states how many kills you have in total. I can confirm that killing your own worms also counts towards this total.

Doing It Solo
Complete story, challenges and tutorials.

Please refer to the descriptions for Billy No Mates, Loves A Challenge and Teacher’s Pet respectively. This trophy will unlock as soon as you have fulfilled the requirements for each of these trophies.

Total Ranker
Win 40 online Ranked matches across at least 3 game modes.

To clarify the requirements for this trophy, you do not need to win 40 matches in each game mode, only a total of 40 in at least three of them. For example, you could win 35 Deathmatches, 3 Survivor games and 2 rounds of Statue Defend and you will unlock this trophy. There isn’t really a set way to aim for this trophy, other than to play online and try your best to win. Two player games are the quickest to complete, so you may wish to stick to these to obtain this trophy faster. Make sure that the matches you are playing are Ranked. Please note that there is no way to check how many wins you currently have in the game, so it is best to keep a note of them yourself.

Alternatively, if you wish to speed things up even further, you can visit the Boosting Thread. We also have a boosting method provided courtesy of CaptainSellers.

Other game modes don’t have the surrender option, so if you’re playing in one of these, simply have the losing player kill off or damage one of their worms, wait until the next turn and then leave. This counts as a win for the other player.

Do this while trading wins, and you should both have this trophy in roughly 2-3 hours.

Secret Trophies

Shop-A-Holic
Purchase the Kitchen Sink game style.

The Kitchen Sink game mode grants you availability to every single weapon in the game. In order to unlock this, you will need to buy every single item in the Shop (with the exception of the Loyalty ones that are only available if you own other Team 17 games). Remember that some items only become available once you have completed other things, so you will need to finish all of the Mayhem Campaign missions and beat the Team 17 Challenge times in order to unlock additional items for purchase. You do not have to beat the Time Bonuses for the missions in the campaign; however doing so will grant you additional coins to spend in the Shop. If you’re running a bit low, then you may wish to consider tackling some of these bonuses to build up your funds a little.

You can also obtain coins by beating your best time in the missions and challenges, so replaying some of these and giving a better performance may also be an option should you need the extra money.

DLC: Single Player Pack
Cost: 4.99 Trophies: 6

Secret Trophies
Challenge Accepted
Complete the first of the new challenges.

This is self-explanatory and will unlock upon completion of any of the new challenges. You only need to finish one of them to obtain this trophy, and you do not need to beat the required time. A more detailed walkthrough for each of these challenges along with tips on how to beat the required times can be found under the description for the Clock Watching trophy.

Nick Of Time
Complete one new challenge under the required time.

This applies to any of the new challenges. Not only do you need to complete one, but you must do so under the required time. A more detailed walkthrough for each of these challenges along with tips on how to beat the required times can be found under the description for the Clock Watching trophy.

No Challenge At All
Complete the new Deathmatch challenge.

In order to obtain this trophy, you only need to complete the new Deathmatch challenge, titled "Deathmatch 11." This is quite a tricky one as you only have three worms with 75 Health, and are going up against six worms with 125 Health, so you will need to play a tactical game in order to win. A more detailed walkthrough for this challenge along with tips on how to beat the required time for it can be found under the description for the Clock Watching trophy.

Time For A Challenge
Complete all the new challenges.

You only need to finish all of the eight new challenges in order to unlock this trophy, and you don't need to beat the required times for them. A more detailed walkthrough for each of these challenges along with tips on how to beat the required times can be found under the description for the Clock Watching trophy.

Time Attacked
Beat all the times on the new challenges.

The time limits can be pretty strict on a few of the challenges, but overall, they are manageable with some practice. A more detailed walkthrough for each of these challenges along with tips on how to beat the required times can be found under the description for the Clock Watching trophy.

Clock Watching
Beat the times on all new challenges and the new Deathmatch challenge. (1)

As the trophy description states, you need to not only complete all eight of the new challenges, but you also need to finish them under the required amount of time. All of the previous trophies lead up to this one, so this will be the last trophy in the DLC set that you will obtain.

Due to the nature of Worms, it can be difficult to pinpoint an exact strategy due to the fact that many games can and usually do play out differently each time. Therefore, I have compiled some general tips and advice to help you get through each challenge, rather than one exact strategy.

SNIPER RIFLE CHALLENGE 2
TIME TO BEAT: 3 Minutes
DIFFICULTY: Medium

You have three minutes to hit 40 targets with your sniper rifle, meaning that on average, you need to be hitting a target every 4.5 seconds. Rest assured that this is not as daunting as it sounds, because a lot of the targets are very close together. Remember to make use of your zoom to hit the far away targets, and use the radar to locate them.

JET PACK CHALLENGE 2
TIME TO BEAT: 5 Minutes, 30 Seconds
DIFFICULTY: Hard

The main difficulty and frustration with this challenge lies in the deceiving camera angles that make it look as if your worm is about to collect the crate but actually isn’t anywhere near it. Couple that with the extremely slow ascension speed of the Jet Pack, and you’re in for a pretty annoying challenge. You’ll be holding down the thrust button almost exclusively here, as you will need to drop and then slowly rise back up numerous times. The most annoying crates to collect are the ones that are located around the dinosaur, as these are dangerously close to the water. For these ones, you’re going to need to slowly inch towards them whilst holding down the thrust and letting go accordingly.

There is also the final set which are located very high up. For some reason, the game doesn’t let you ascend high enough to collect these from a distance, so you’re going to need to hover underneath them and fly up to get them this way. Good luck with this challenge, it’s a tough one.

SUPER SHEEP CHALLENGE 2
TIME TO BEAT: 4 Minutes 30 Seconds
DIFFICULTY: Easy

It may take a few attempts to get used to the way in which the Super Sheep handles, but once you’ve mastered it, this challenge isn’t too bad. Remember that the controls are NOT inverted like most other games, so pressing down on the stick will actually make your sheep fly downwards as opposed to upwards. Don’t forget to use the right analog stick to change the pitch of the sheep if he starts to roll over to the side a little too much.

SHOTGUN CHALLENGE 2
TIME TO BEAT: 2 Minutes
DIFFICULTY: Easy

You can actually afford to miss quite a few times in this one and still beat the target time. Take it slow and make sure that your Shotgun steadies before firing.

ACCURACY CHALLENGE 2
TIME TO BEAT: 5 Minutes, 30 Seconds
DIFFICULTY: Medium

Although you have several different weapons in your arsenal, this challenge can be completed exclusively with just the Bazooka. This will be a true test of your accuracy, as you are going to need to judge the wind direction and aim your shots higher to compensate for gravity as they travel. Use the lines in your zoom as a guide. Most of the time, you’re going to have to aim at least 3-4 lines higher than the worm to stand any chance of actually hitting them. It may take you a few tries to judge the distances correctly, but the time limit isn’t too strict here, so it’s possible for you to miss a few times and still complete the challenge.

NAVIGATION CHALLENGE 2
TIME TO BEAT: 1 Minute, 20 Seconds
DIFFICULTY: Medium

Mines, lots of mines, and you’re going to be setting all of them off as you go past them in your quest to reach the summit. The mines have a three second fuse, so as soon as you set one off, you need to move on to the next platform pretty sharpish. As soon as you hear one beeping, immediately jump past it to avoid getting caught in the blast. You can simply jump to the platforms during the first half of the challenge, but you’ll need to make use of your forward flip towards the end as you ascend the higher platforms. Remember to use the left analog stick to change the camera angle so you can see where you’re going. The time limit is quite strict in this one, so you need to be very quick.

CRATE COLLECT CHALLENGE 2
TIME TO BEAT: 5 Minutes, 30 Seconds
DIFFICULTY: Easy (Once you know which route to take)

Start out by collecting the crate directly below you. Next, move over to the one located straight ahead of you (above the three mines grouped closely together.) Forward flip up to collect this one, and then make you way up the stairs and to the top of this building (whilst ensuring to collect the next crate halfway up too.) Now, you’re going to need your Jet Pack, but make sure to conserve enough fuel to collect three more crates. You’re going to need the ones located on the two flying carpets, and then the one on the very top of the building in front of those.

Next, drop down and take the fall damage to collect the crate directly below this (don’t use the Parachute because you’ll need it later.) Make your way down the stairs to the right to collect the next crate, whilst making sure to retreat to a safe distance once you’ve set off the mines. Jump to the small post containing the penultimate crate, but remember to pull back on the Analog stick a little to ensure that you don’t over-jump it.

Finally, you’ll need to take a little trek to reach the final crate. The reason why I suggested to save the Parachute earlier is because when you reach the shoreline, you can forward flip and then immediately activate the Parachute. This will glide you safely over and enable you to collect the final crate. Using this method, I completed this challenge in just over three minutes.

DEATHMATCH CHALLENGE 11
TIME TO BEAT: 10 Minutes
DIFFICULTY: Hard

The main difficulty with this challenge actually lies with surviving rather than beating it within the time limit. You're going to need to play a tactical game here, because the enemy has perfect accuracy and will hit you almost all of the time. Therefore, you need to find a nice hiding spot and stay there whilst slowly peeking out to pick off the enemy worms. The rocks leading onto the sand are good place to hide in, and there's a small doorway below where your first worm starts that serves as an excellent hiding spot. You have 10 minutes to complete this challenge, so you need to be killing an enemy every 1 minute and 40 seconds on average.

The good thing here is that you have an unlimited supply of Super Sheeps, so once you're hidden, you can simply use these and pick off each worm at a distance. Be careful though, and don't just rely on these. If you're having trouble, you may wish to use your Jet Pack to pick up any Health Crates that drop, or to whack them into the water with the Fire Punch/Baseball Bat.

DLC: Multiplayer Pack
Cost: 4.99 Trophies: 6

Secret Trophies
Alexander The Worm
Win an online match on each of the new maps.

This trophy is rather self-explanatory. You need to win at least one match on the following maps:

  • Towering Infernal
  • Hard Day’s Knight
  • End Of The Line
  • 1,001 Fights
  • Tyranno-Saw-Us

The trophy does not specify which game mode these victories need to be made in, so it doesn’t matter whether you play Deathmatch or Survivor. Remember to play a tactical game, as this is what Worms is all about. Make use of your environment and don’t use all of your powerful weapons at once – you never know when you might need them later on in the match to get yourself out of a tricky situation.

This trophy can be obtained in a Custom (Unranked) Match, however I would advise against this and suggest that you play Ranked Deathmatches instead. If you do so, then you’ll be able to obtain the Dedicated Ranker trophy at the same time as this one.

Join Me Luke
Win a ranked Deathmatch on a new map with at least 1 Worm ending with more health than they started with.

Firstly, it should be noted that you cannot obtain this trophy in a Custom Match, as these are Unranked.

In order to have a worm end with more health than they started with, you’re going to need to pick up a health crate and ensure that it raises your worm’s HP to more than 100. In a standard game, health crates are almost certain to be deployed at least once per match. As soon as this happens, I would recommend that you pick it up with a worm that has full health and then keep him well protected from enemy fire. Try to move to a well hidden position that offers shelter from long range weaponry such as Airstrikes and Homing Missiles. Remember that you will also need to win the match, so try to use your hidden worm to provide support if you can, as you don’t want to isolate him completely and leave yourself at a disadvantage.

The Bubble Trouble utility and Sentry Gun weapon are both great ways to protect yourself, so consider using these if your opponent starts to turn their attention towards your worm. Don’t worry if your worm does get hit however – as long as you win the match and he has MORE than 100 health, then you’ll meet the criteria. You could have 101 health left and the trophy would still unlock.

I Love New
Play each new map more than 5 times, all modes count.

As stated in the Road Map, this is likely to be the last trophy that you obtain due to the fact that it requires a minimum of 30 games to be played. Please note that the description states that each new map needs to be played MORE than five times, so a minimum of six is required for each. It should also be noted that the game does not tell you the number of times that each map has been played, so I would suggest that you keep a track of this yourself. It doesn’t matter whether you win or lose the matches played on these maps – as long as you complete the match, then it will count towards the trophy.

The new maps that you’ll need to play on are as follows:

  • Towering Infernal
  • Hard Day’s Knight
  • End Of The Line
  • 1,001 Fights
  • Tyranno-Saw-Us

This trophy can actually be obtained offline in Local Play, so you may wish to switch to this to speed things up. Thanks to MrMinderbinder for confirming this.

Dedicated Ranker
Can you rise to the challenge and win a ranked Deathmatch on every new map? (1)

This is very similar to the Alexander The Worm trophy, and it is possible to obtain both of these at the same time. The only differences with this trophy are that the victories must come from playing Deathmatch only, and the game must be Ranked (i.e. no Custom Matches.) Remember to play a tactical game, as this is what Worms is all about. Make use of your environment and don’t use all of your powerful weapons at once – you never know when you might need them later on in the match to get yourself out of a tricky situation.

As a reminder, here are the maps that you will need to win on:

  • Towering Infernal
  • Hard Day’s Knight
  • End Of The Line
  • 1,001 Fights
  • Tyranno-Saw-Us
Davey Jones Returns
Drown 20 Worms across any of the new maps.

This trophy is likely to come naturally as you’re working towards the five plays on each map, so I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Weapons such as the Fire Punch and Baseball Bat are best for drowning enemy worms, although a well placed Bazooka or Grenade shot can be just as effective. If you wish to speed this up a bit, then I suggest playing a match with four players as these will involve more worms, thus giving you more opportunities to drown them. You can also try for it offline in Local Play.

Remember that only the following maps will count towards this trophy:

  • Towering Infernal
  • Hard Day’s Knight
  • End Of The Line
  • 1,001 Fights
  • Tyranno-Saw-Us
Feel The Power Of The Darkside
Win a Ranked match with two or more worms remaining on each new map.

This trophy can be tricky if you don’t play a tactical game, although rest assured that it’s very possible that it’ll simply come naturally as you work towards the I Love New trophy. In order to give yourself the best chance at obtaining this trophy, I suggest that you play a three or four player game. Whilst it can be argued that these games will be harder to win, they will also give you the best chance at keeping at least two of your worms alive. This is because your opponents may focus on each other rather than you, especially if your worms are far away from the action.

Try to find a nice hiding spot that will still offer you chances to engage in combat. The Bubble Trouble utility and Sentry Gun weapon are both a fantastic way to protect yourself, and will ensure that enemies stay away from you. Keep your worms separated, as this is more likely to draw attention away from them, and remember that the match needs to be Ranked in order to count. If you’re having trouble with this one, then you may wish to consult the Trophy Boosting Thread should you require further assistance.

As previously stated, these are the maps that you will need to obtain this victory criterion on:

  • Towering Infernal
  • Hard Day’s Knight
  • End Of The Line
  • 1,001 Fights
  • Tyranno-Saw-Us
